Yeah I watched it recently hence my presence here from RUclips recommendation algorithm, but her English accent sounded so off.
I swear to god Angelina IS the REAL LIFE Lara Croft. She is and looks EXACTLY what Lara is supposed to be and how she is supposed to look. Period. You can not change my mind on this.

Why did seeing it as Angelina Jolie make me feel more attached and invested in the story? It just felt more like Lara Croft, where as her new appearance sort of makes it feel like a whole different character.

I usually avoid Angelina TR mods, but this model looks surprisingly good, kudos to the creator! Some day justice would be served, and we will see actually mature Lara in Tomb Raider, maybe not Angelina, but with features just as striking. Awkward mocap nuances aside, her model here looks so much better (or at least more interesting) because it's more mature, imo. (plus her muscles are even bigger than sottr Lara's, which is always a yes)

@@BadFluffy and to be fairer, I do think this cosmetic change alone massively helps the experiences’ shortcomings. One could chalk it up to “a Tomb Raider story with some “quirky character bits” here and there, since it’s more about the exploration & action than just the story. I think with the whole AI voice thing and maybe taking out all of the more unnecessary noise would also help the character a lot 🤩

OMG! I love the Survivor Lara, but this is perfect. I love all Lara Croft version, but Angelina Jolie is perfection. I just finished this game like more than 10 times. I guess I will be playing for another 100s with this mod.
The teen Lara is also perfect. If I'm correct, she was based on the Alicia V's movie. The 2 braids also kinda give me nostalgic. I thought she was the teen Lara from Revelations.
I love this mod. The hair, the clothes, everything! Unuratu's hair looks very fitting to the culture.
I love the last outfit; very Cradle of Life.
This was so enjoyable to watch, almost like an extra movie, the original Lara didn't give me any sense at all that it was Tomb Raider, now all that's left to do is get Angelina to do the voice over 😂😂 Great job!!

@@JB-Editing There is just one small bug with it. Sometimes your holstered weapons like your bow or knife get glitched to the ground. This happened in exploration mode and after I completed the game. Thankfully with the “Hide all holstered weapons mod” I was able to fix this.
tbh I'm suprised you guys actually love this look of Lara. It feels so cursed for me, that I thought it was more like a joke or something. For me, Angelina was always more elegant, classy and her face looks unnatural in this environment

This mod is amazing, however I like both Laras. The onlder one and the younger one. The trilogy is supposed to be the origin of Lara Croft, she's still fighting her past demons and hasn't become the seasoned rider the first games portrayed. I loved the trilogy, and I love old Lara, both are great.
I think that Jolie is such a natural image because she gives what, Lara Croft, was lost -- the image of a femme fatale

I realise I'm talking about the evolution of many cultures, over the course of millenia, but I think Jonah is almost certainly the greatest fictional character ever conceived, in any artistic medium, and in every possible sense. I shouldn't wonder that, in aeons to come, philosophers and academics alike will regularly convene to debate and discuss how Crystal Dynamics could have achieved such a monumental artistic achievement as the genesis of lovely Jonah. Angelina's face just carries the same charm, energy, and aesthetics that Lara's og face did! They should've used her for the reboot's face! I don't know why they had to change Lara's face completely.
This mod is almost like a preview of how Unified Lara might look like (excluding the face part, of course).
A more capable and attractive looking Lara instantly made this cut-scene more interesting.
