Yes Cheese Parantha does have similar taste to Cheese Toastie which I eat a lot here in the UK. Islamabad is more chilly especially in December and January with frosts at night and is more northern than the other cities. I did hear that it does occasionally snow there in winter but I'm sure the residents of Islamabad will confirm this but that is nothing new in the UK as we see snow all the bloody time in the winter - we Brits are used to the cold LOL
In Islamabad city there is no snowfall, sometimes Hailing . Snowfall at the place called Muree which is about 60km up north from Islamabad. a winter month in night is the max temperature drop in peak winter is 7° C (nowadays). Islamabad weather is ideal to live whole year.

Hi Harry, please please follow few precautions while you are in Pakistan,.. donot eat food being sold along the road 2) first look for hygienic conditions of the eating area3) eat fresh and hot meal 4)always select tin packed beverages 4) About water taste it first and then sip 5) wash your hands with soap before eating as your hand shakes are frequent and use them directly without wiping with tissue paper 5) Carry bananas and dry fruits with coverings like peanuts and walnuts for hunger & energy... As you are recovering , use simple diet like rice without spices and yugrat... If you had got diarrhea in Lahore , your tammy is considered normal while you are passing normal solid stool not constipated one.. these precautions are applicable everywhere in Pakistan especially in"Murree"
The average westerner dos not realise the Islamabad is 2000+ feet above sea level, so its very cold in the winter and often gets snow and ice. A three cheese Paratha in cold weather is like the perfect comfort food from God, simple, but so very tasty and memorable. Harry was in food heaven, local people are so incredibly friendly and welcoming to you both.

Islamabad is meant to be like that.it is the capital .but Both Lahore and Karachi are not supposed to be..they are serving their own purpose.. Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan..it feeds millions of people of all walk of life.the city is taking care of its people so it is inturned darkened and tired.I'm a karachiites and I know the importance of Karachi. Lahore is the traditional and cultural capital of Pakistan and it's a very old and historical city..both these cities are massive in population and area as compared to Islamabad..so huge huge funds and political sincerity required to develop these cities as par to Islamabad but insha'Allah in future we hope things get changed

Yeah Harry we do have cheese toastie and cheese and onion pasty here in UK but this paratha is a fried version of cheese toastie up here in UK. Cool to see some meals in snoozy and chillier Islamabad. Love the reaction on cheese cake and yeah that is awesome.Try pizza and some savouries and pastries from Tehzeeb bakers in Islamabad. My favourite is Unique and United bakery items in Islamabad/Pindi. Loving it from very cold London today. Can't wait to see Mac's version too later. Keep it up Haz.
Instead of going to a gym, take a hike into margalla hills. It’s a roughly 2 hours hike to the top. The views are amazing and you’ll find the Monal restaurant there as well.

Yeah Harry we do have cheese toastie and cheese and onion pasty here in UK but this paratha is a fried version of cheese toastie up here in UK.

In paratha pronunciation it’s a hard T not a soft t. Like when you pronounce the word tie or Thai.
Instead of going to a gym, take a hike into margalla hills. It’s a roughly 2 hours hike to the top. The views are amazing and you’ll find the Monal restaurant there as well.
