The shopkeeper in Islamabad don't tell you a very high price and do not waste time in reducing the price. The kids you found while getting your shoe repaired were actually Afghan refugees. Pakistan shelters largest number of Afghan Refugees. Most of the shopkeepers in this road side market who told that they were from Islamabad were actually Afghan refugees. They were speaking Pushto Language.

Yeah some of them from Afghanistan and so much from bajawar they are always scamming people who coming from other cities...I hate people like this .
Pashto is also spoken in Pakistan. You taking this as a argument that they are afghan because they speak Pashto makes no sense. I’m pakistani and from little on we speak Pashto AND urdu at home. We’re no refugees whatsoever my family is entirely from Pakistan, Peshawar. But we shifted to Islamabad. It is very possible they were from Pakistan. But again, they also could be refugees from Afghanistan as Pakistan has over 2 million of them. I don’t know if you’re pakistani or not I don’t think so because if you were you would know. We Pukhtoon people are also part of Pakistan. Pakistan does not only consist of Punjabi people. We are a big part as well. Along with Sindhi, Balochi saraiki, gilgiti…and more. Without us Pakistan is incomplete. If you hear someone speaking Pashto it means they could be from Afghanistan but also from Pakistan
@@zara3322 Lol Chill dear. i am myself half Pathan and also a Khattak. Kindly read the comment carefully and keep the Punjabi hatred obsession aside. I know that Pashto is the main language of all the Pakhtoon people in Pakistan. I was just informing that these people in the video were most likely Afghan refugees and the language they are speaking is Pushto. It was just a piece of info for a foreigner who didn't know what language they were speaking. Pathan and Pushto speaking people Do not only live in Pakistan.!!! They also exist in Afghanistan and that's what I was trying to tell here MADAM! Likewise Punjabis don't only exist in Pakistan. They are also from Indian Punjab. I also speak Pushto and I can differentiate between Pakistani Pathans and Afghan refugees mostly. Pakistani Pathan Do Know which area they belong to, whereas Afghan refugees would avoid telling that in a video.

As I read some comments below where people just explaining Pashtuns and Afghans on video section of your shoe cleaning as all are human beings and Harry Jaggard is treated all the same still I watched all videos from Malaysia - India and this Pakistan (My Country).
Back to my comments point to let you know that "when these boys talking & laughing and you asked why you are laughing so they don't understand English what to say - actually they telling you in joke about COBBLER the small and the big one whom cleaning your shoes. So they made little jokes about them.
In another point as this Saleem boy just proofing cobbler that he going to grip good money around 1000 Rs from you which looks dodgy / cheating BUT you already paid them 2000 Rs of the work worth 100 Rs to them. That was so kind and you. I should say you are good bargainer.
Regarding buying Jacket and man stick with price so usually their tactics if customer like something and he know customer is not came for window shopping so he stick with price till customer want to leave the shop so then shopkeeper call for reduce price. This Aabpara market Islamabad you shopped.
I think Pakistan means Generous, hospitable, down to earth people as that's what I have noticed in other vloggers videos. ❤

We usually don't give tips here but since I watched you I started giving tips to ppl like rickshaw driver like 10-50 rupees it really makes warms me heart
they only give tips to the ones who are honest.

First, the guy wasn't using any abusive words. It's the way we pakhtuns talk, like Russians which one assumes they're fighting while they talk, just like us pakhtuns. Secondly, you do what exactly is expected at the right places. Thanks for the generous pays you do at different places.

These kids laughing because in Pakistan the mix Urdu/English and he was mixing Pashto/English by adding “ing” to Pashto words and that was real funny if you understand Pashto. These cobblers are very expert in their work & they come from #KPK province . I am glad that the amount you guys gave them is their two days wage actually .
Harry I love the way you portray Pakistan and am thankful for it. Little suggestion if you dont mind, dont pay more than what shopkeepers ask. Like for socks, it was 250 but you paid 300. 250 was already an ask, it should have been brought down to 150-180rupees. nevertheless, if you wanna pay the full asked price, don't pay over the ask price as you are doing it in goodwill but to shopkeepers mind, he wanna charge from you or for fact any foreigners quite high price as they would think that since y'all can afford lets ask heavily which can cause harm for locals too as they will increase the prices for locals too....i dont know if I could convey my point, summarily pay what they ask as over tipping or gratuity is not needed at every place...rest have a great time in my country...

You should've visited sunday bazaar which is a huge market in Islamabad I'd say and it is located in sector 1-8. You can find there anything you want from new things to used things, you can actually get the originals vans shoes same as yours for like 9 to 15$
