Got my Cub 12 two weeks ago. My very first 1 channel amp, playing for 30 + yrs. Amazing amp not only for the money but even compared to much more expensive amps i own. Hyped for the new ones, definitely will go for it.
stanislavmigra I use a TC mojo mojo and an ibanez TS mini, both good budget pedals..amp sound great with them.ya right with the old school thing I think,it'll do a hard bluesy rock style easy.but I've never tried a full on distortion pedal.
Love the preamp design in the Cub. My 12r is a monster for such an affordable, lightweight combo. These new ones sound sweet. Never cared for the older HH Drivers but these sound better. The VC30 is probably still my favourite "affordable" 30W Combo. It's so underrated. Do they even make the VC30 anymore? Mine isn't a real Laney - it's a clone of the VC30 design, more or less. If I had a larger music room, no neighbours, and a car my dream amp would probably be the Lionheart LT20. Good enough for "Gilmourish" Bjorn, good enough for a hack like me. It's a heavy bugger tho!
I use the Cub 10 as a stage amp since 2013. As a harp player it is always a struggle to find a harmonica-friendly amp out of the box... It is a great little amp and does its job well! I don't know if the boost could add some plus colors but I would like to test one of them in the future!
The Super 10 isn't a 12 Watt amp. It features a single EL84 output valve, which'll give around 5 Watts. 5 Watts in a small space is still barking loud, but the Super 10 isn't a 12 Watter by any stretch. I think I'll stick with my older Cub 10 for now, but I'd be lying if I claimed not to be interested.

vhenry75 fantastic to hear. Im also owner of TC mojo mojo and blues/hard rock is my main thing.
Lee is an insane player and he knows his tone for sure ! :) // Guillaume
He's really good !...at times his right hand is almost not moving and he's killing it
When you can play like the guitarist, any amp will sound good!
The Laney guys really know how to build great amps/combos. And the mini stacks are really cute :-)
Rightly impressed with the sound quality here. The mini stack! Bless it’s heart! Thanks
I have a cub 12R right beside me. However I preferred the old tweet design
How they work with oldschool boosters and drives?
Same, great amp.
@@stanislavmigra They like the pedals. My 12r is a great little combo.
