I love your methodical approach to this great sport. I have always marched to the logical beat and process all info as a variable rather than a rule. I hope I cross path with you on the water some day
So many guys just troll blindly around the lake, without trying to figure out where the fish are. Many days I've been in this big cove with around 50' of water, just hammering fish, while most guys are out over the deep water main lake, struggling. As for lures, these fish I chase feed almost exclusively on schools of alewives, so using anything that is not the size/shape of a 3"-6" alewife, is a waste of time. Each lake has it's own personality, it's the fisherman's job to learn his lakes!
