Osage Osage/ hedge tree. Originally planted for fence posts, also used for airtight wood stoves. It has 38 million BTU,S OU HEAT IN A CORD OF WOOD were as oak only has 20 million BYU, S .
Osage orange, horse apple, hedge apple etc. fence posts in the past, I use it for wood mallets, chisel handles, handmade bows, bowls knife handles, cutting boards, however it’s mostly sought after by bow makers.
Probably hedge, but could also be persimmon or mulberry. Fantastically hard, dense woods that resist wear, and can be used outdoor with virtually no decay. All yellow wood is good wood!
Bows. Not the arrows. Utilized by the Osage Indian nations of the Great PLains, U.S. Often, the staves were heated next to the fire for strength and rigidity.
I had a friend to used a lot of different woods from South America. As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was and I read one of your other peoples answers, so he’s right and I 100% agree.
Also called a hedge tree. My dad told me that some guy when he was a kid. Late 30’s early 40’s. Built a fiddle out of that wood. Don't know what it sounded like. But it must have been beautiful.! Big green knobby fruit. About the size of grapefruit.Seed pods. Don't know if there are good for anything but keeping crickets out of the cellar. The wood burns very hot. And will spark like crazy if it gets in front of the draft of a wood stove. You don't want to overload it. Ash is a really fine powder like salt. Used to be used for wagon wheels and frame parts. Extremely hard wood. But useful.
So much wood was wasted just to make one pen.

Ist schon aus Rest Stücken gemacht, daher überflüssige Kritik
Same could be said for your mom.
