FYI if you are new to audio, then please keep some of the natural noise in the room coming through the mic. This guys overly processed audio will, after a while, turn off listeners as it's too upfront and personal sounding. Think of it like someone talking to closely to you, after a few seconds you feel uncomfortable. Overly clean audio can really make your listener or viewer feel uncomfortable. In movies and high end productions, mixers make sure the on camera actors have "room tone", or just a sample of the room when no one is talking, and mix that back in to keep the viewer from feeling uncomfortable or awkward.
I agree, this is why AI voicing is not appealing to listen to at all. You can clearly tell it's "fake". I get sick and tired of muffled sounds from mics in general and AI just made it worse. It's better to just put it closer to the mouth when voice acting and recording.
I'm thinking about buying elgato mics, but I have an issue: a crying baby and in the next room and often his mother talking or singing to sooth him. I'm pretty sure that with the Wave 3 those backgound noises will be picked up, so I was thinking of buying the wave DX, being a dynamic mic. With this new feature, what's the point of an XLR mic? will it serve the me the same? I don't know much about mics yet, but from what I'm seeing, both solutions solve the same problem
Why not allow this to be used with all mic inputs? Have I not spent enough money after buying a streamdeck plus (with usb hub), streamdeck xl, All corsair fans in my computer, power supply, corsair keyboard? Come on guys.
I will literally never regret buying from Elgato. Love your guys stuff!
Thank you Elgato! 🎤
Elgato gets better and better with each product. Thanks Elgato you're the real
at this point my desk is 75% elgato stuff lol
This morning my Wave Link Was at it's old verison, hopefully when I get home, I can update my XLR dock and try this out! Thanks Elgato
Amazing Feature! I will forever be an Elgato Family! I got everything Elgato! Makes my RUclips Gaming videos professional

I guess you can just put the strength slider a bit lower
Absolutely amazing! 👍👍
Ooo I am excited for this! Question, will voice focus essentially take the place of a suppressor, noise gate, etc.?
In the future, could you add Voice Focus to the voice chat channel, if no others?
Great video. Will this feature only work with WaveLink Microphone FX, or can I use the Elgato Wave 1

If you care about background noise, consider a dynamic mic and not a condensor mic
will Elgato release something like the Rode Caster Video? You don't have anything for a multi mic/video set up?
hey can i use this on my ffine mic?
Yes you can but only through XLR input. You can add the mic on wave link with usb and still use VSTs, but you won’t see the new voice option
so it means, this totally replaces the DeeGate(Noise Gate) and Noise Supression(Elgato Noise Removal)?
Wondering the same
So the only way I can use it with my current setup, Wave Link via Stream Deck + and SM7b, is to buy the xlr adapter to use with my stream deck+ ?
Yes
@Rob_325 Thank you

Oh and lifetime streamdeck mobile, and low profile wave arm :P
You are paying for the software by buying the hardware. That's how it works. With streamdeck you're paying for streamdeck software.
Oh yeah I forgot about the pedal as well :(.
The only thing required is the one you don't have. It's not a matter of money spent, as a Wave 1 is enough and cost like 80$.
Not downgrading my mic for software that has no reason not to work on all inputs. Just sell the software guys.
