When Pablo talks about the "leftovers" the robbers and people being suspect of Americans. Maybe Pablo and his mennonite parents should have more actively at a minimum talked about the genocide at the behest of big corporations in Guatemala which have created the current social situations which make it hostile to Europeans and North Americans and in reality Christians

If you even bring up these things people get very uncomfortable but then we gotta listen to pablo talk about the robbers and bad guys who targeted him cause hes a gringo. I dont think Pablo's missing any meals down there. His house looks very nice. Hes a target for sure down there but it has really nothing to do with Jesus but more to do with the foreign policies of the USA and our allies. The good guys sponsored by the CIA have been raping Americans for years but I never once heard conservative mennonites talk about it. You live by the sword you die by the sword

Anything we can do about the USA killing missionaries like Maryknoll Sisters Maura Clarke and Ita Ford, Ursuline Dorothy Kazel, Jean Donovan, Dianna Ortiz, Oscar Romero, Glenn Lapp, etc. The Guatemalan genocide of indigenous peoples by The USA and its death squads trained at the school of the Americas in fort benning Georgia

Pablo reminds me so much of his brother Mark! I've only briefly been acquainted with Mark but that's all it takes to love him! God bless you dear brothers!

Very interesting and essential. But please turn the volume up a little next time. I wasn't able to listen to this at work because of the low volume and my noisy environment. Thanks. And THANK you and God bless you for sharing this.

When anabaptist perspectives went to Iraq they had a state department soldier with lots if guns riding with them to kill anyone who got in the way and airpower up over their head waiting if needed. They went exactly where they were told to go by their state department handlers. If they went on their own they could easily end up dead from the death squads the usa unleashed on Iraq 🇮🇶
