i don't comment often but wow, I really loved this video. I am trying to help a few young folk use charcoal and I keep blowing up their texts with your stuff. Thank you!
The brushstrokes of this charcoal portrait of a woman are delicate and profound, as if they can reach the depths of the character's soul. The lines of carbon black display an unparalleled sense of layering and three dimensionality amidst the interplay of light and shadow, as if one can feel the delicacy and radiance of the skin. It fully demonstrates the artist's talent and craftsmanship, and also gives us a deeper understanding and insight into the art of painting.
Have you made a living from scribble portraits? I love scribble portrait making but idk if it is viable for making a career. Let me know if you get commissioned for this art style!
@@MadCharcoal Right, thanks. Just I’ve been having trouble finding a good one for 12.9” Pro on Amazon/returned a few and hoped you’d share a link or brand of the stand you have. Love the videos. Thanks!
I love that you're making longer videos for youtube now, and showing your face. You deserve to be recognized.
Appreciate it! 🖤
Good 🎉🎉🎉
This guy is something else, I can't even draw a straight line, and he make art out scribble ones. Never mind I just take a photocopy.
Hardly anyone can draw a straight line. Make drawings with curved lines! lol
That was a nice use of mixed media. Ink can be such a varied tool that it was an utter pleasure to watch. Looking forward to the next video.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Did he have formal training/education in this area or just learned on his own like Leonardo DiVinci?
I have taken a few art classes but mostly I learned through creating.

This technique is not new. I did one of Max Headroom when I was a kid.
Great to see your outstanding work. ... However in this case the photograph is better.
