    I use a MT2 as a boost through the later series VH140c, but really it has so much gain, I have played shows for years with no pedals.

    SD-1 or EQ for me. OD808 is very close, though. Fortin and MT-2 make it way too thin and scratchy (may work for groove metal/sludge, but I play brutal death and there it turns everything into high frequency mush). They, however, work insanely well for Crates GX130C/G130CXL/XLP/GX1600/GX600 (same preamp in all of them), as they're not as tight as Ampeg and are much darker.

    SD1, Furman, maxon, 33, metal zone. My choice. I still got love for the metal zone don't worry. LATER 🤘
