Thank you. I can confirm this works on a late 2017 UK mk8. Only need to replace the switch and do the software changes. No extra parts or wires needed. Edit: Have now also done this on a car built in spring of 2018.

@@flightmotive No, you replace the button cluster then hook up a laptop running Forscan to the diagnostic port and change configuration settings. Try turning on captions, auto translate and watch the video again.
Hola. Tengo un Fiesta MK8 del 2018 Titanium. Al poner la botonera y activar con el Forscan, ¿también se activa el control de crucero adaptativo cuando hay un vehículo delante y lee las señales? ¿O tengo que ponerle otras cosas más?
Just came here to say a big 'Thank you'! You've just saved me quite a lot of money. I installed cruise control on my Fiesta Mk8 following your instructions and works like a charm. I had a bit of trouble pushing the airbag out (pain in the back with pushing those clips) and I didn't actually take it out completely - two of the wires on my car were clipped, no plugs. So I only slightly detached the air bag and worked my way around it, pulled out the trim and managed to change the limiter panel with a cruise control one. It's probably worth mentioning that now (it's been 2 and a half years since you posted this) Forscan doesn't recommend the ELM327 reader anymore as it doesn't actually read all modules, but it was ok for installing the cruise control, though. Hola, viendo tu video me he decidido a cambiar el limitador por el control de velocidad en mi fiesta Titanium mk8, decir que me encontré con un par de problemas que pude solucionar, el primero es el quitar la tapa, hay que meter un destornillador como dices pero hacer palanca asta que salte una pestaña metálica que es la que lo ancla y ya sale un poco, sino salta de nada sirve enpujar con el destornillador y el segundo es que hay que activar aparte de los tres modulos que pones en otro mas, por lo menos en el modelo Titanium yo seguí estos pasos y así funciona:
1. PCM -> Voz: Control de velocidad -> cambiar a "Control de velocidad";
2. BCM (o BdyCM) -> Voz: Control de velocidad -> Cambiar a "Control de velocidad";
3. SSCM -> Voz: Interruptor del volante a la izquierda -> Cambiar a "H1BT-9E740-A *" (tenga en cuenta que también hay un asterisco final en la lista que se muestra en la unidad de control)
4. IPC -> Voz: Interruptor de control de crucero - Cambie a "Habilitar"

Hola Silverio, efectivamente como dices hay que hacer palanca en la pestañita, y al menos en el modelo StLine, no hace falta el modulo IPC. Gracias por tu aportacion ;)
Hi my friend. I own the fiesta 2019 diesel without cruise control button. I ordered from ebay the appropriate button and plugged it in. None of the buttons works, nor cruise control neither the other button of volume etc. Is it normal? i downloaded Forscan. It needs an OBD with cable or it could work with wireless?

Buenas tardes, tengo un modelo Ford Fiesta 2018 (mk8) que viene únicamente con limitador, he conseguido la pieza que indicas pero al llamar a Ford para que el servicio técnico me la instalarse me han dicho que mi modelo no tiene el cableado necesario, es esto posible? Que un modelo de 2018 con limitador no esté preparado? Es porque no me lo quieren hacer? Muchas gracias de antemano.
Hola Ramiku, eso es porque en Ford no lo hacen, ya bien porque no quieren, no saben o no les interesa. Como ves en el tutorial no es un trabajo complicado, te hacen falta un ordenador, el software Forscan y el lector OBD.

How did you enabled the fuel consumption guage in combinatie with the digital speedometer if I may may ask. Did you change an IPC option for this?
When you are on the menu that shows your speed, try clicking the options button (on the right control switch). In there you can customize your "MyView"
What needs to exactly be done? Do I just install the new button set up? In terms of software what do I need to install? Or even update

@loempiafutileddugenou2176 you need to change several settings using forescan. Try turning on captions and auto-translate and watch the video again slowly. I can't remember all of things you need to change but there are two or three settinhs not just enable cruise control. In one place you have to select the part number of the button cluster. The number is printed written on the back of the buttons or possibly the box it came in.
