    I ordered the tool from Oliver. It took some time but it is also a 100% custom production. Shipping to Europe was very transparent with UPS. Oliver had sent me the tracking number by e-mail. The tool is absolutely high quality and super solidly built. The handling is very simple. I calibrated the bushings of a somewhat insensitive Marzocchi Z1 today.
    I went through it very generously 4-5 times. The result was incredible. The response and reaction to sharp small bumbs is significantly better. As a result, the grip increased and I was able to increase the damping a bit. Absolute recommendation!

    Only 823 people did see this, so far the best vid with the right tools to do it. How is it possible that no one is selling this tools and you can't find the proper tools to do the job. Would expect ebay or some where on the web but it's youtube.

    Great video. For some reason, I've become more popular with riding buddies since getting your bushing sizing tool. Do you mind if I ask where you source the new bushings, particularly Rockshox 35mm? They seem really hard to find here in the UK. No point ordering the tools if I can't get the bushings.

    Smart stuff, i would worrie using it with old corroded stuf, would be no way to remove inserted part if over tapping force was required and start to twist something, some bushings can be really stuck.

    A couple of queries for a novice.
    Why would bushing come from the factory too tight? Surely thats a quality issue from the factory?
    Won't changing the size of them make them develop play quicker?
    When resizing them how does the tool make them bigger without damaging the super slippy ptfe coating?

    • @MatTancock
      @MatTancock 2 года назад +1

      it's not way too tight but the tolerance is bad enough for it to cause friction, it's not an issue but a bushing at exactly the proper size would be better

    Hi my i ask why we need to replace the bushings?

    • @c0rky0001
      @c0rky0001 6 месяцев назад

      because if lets say a water gets into your lowers, the aluminum which is bushing made from starts to oxidize and it turns into a sandpaper in your fork

    damn, I mean, I'd love to buy $300 in tools for a $50 fork but I think I'll pass. Not mechanically complicated, just some crazy specialty tools I wasn't expecting to need.

    What is the surface of the different burnishing head(s) made of? Does it burnish simply by compression polishing or is there a ultra fine emory surface to the head?
