This is absolutely gorgeous! Im somewhat of a beginner still struggling with trying to get my strings (using CSS) sound rich, the fact that this is that high quality right out of the box is nothing short of amazing, and gives me motivation to press on Some questions though, are the strings all legato patches? Something like using 5 different strings playing their own thing but coming together to make chords? And also are you just manipulating dynamics to create that somber tone, or is there something more at play here that i should take note of?
Thanks! Yes I'm using modulation of the dynamics to make it expressive. I'm also splitting the strings into violin 1 violin 2 viola cello and double bass legato patches.
Can you detail what sting articulations you are mixing if any? When I use only legato it feels very stagnant. Are you automating vibrato as well? Wonderful composition by the way!
Thank you! Here I'm using only legatos, I'm automating dynamics but not the vibrato. I'm using the expressive setting of the legato and making sure to keep all the velocities low to get the slowest most expressive version of the legato (with a track delay of -333ms).
Thank you! Nothing specifically on the piano or strings tracks. Just a little bit of Gullfoss EQ on the final master (20% tame and 20% recover). Very little so there is barely any noticeable difference. This is pretty much the sound you get out of the box from the piano and the strings.
Wunderschön!
This is absolutely the best thing i heared today
Thank you!
good job. It sounds like some disney/medieval track for a movie.
Goosebumps 😖
Thank you for listening!
This is amazing!❤
Beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous
Thank you!

@@marcozannone Must just be great writing then! Thanks!
Which scale? Can u do a break down of this masterpiece pls
F sharp major! I'll do more "making of" style videos in the future, maybe I'll eventually break this one down as well
What software is this?
Logic Pro X
Very beautiful, did you do any production on the strings and piano?

@@marcozannone awesome, guess its just a question of orchestration with these high quality libraries
magical.. well done! what was your negative delay that you used for the strings?
Thanks! They are all using expressive legatos at the lowest velocity so -333 ms
This is so beautiful
whats the tempo for the song? It sounds really nice
Thanks! It's in 4/4 and should be somewhere around 90bpm
Generic but good
Thank you!
