Now that's a true Star Wars fan! Your personal upgrades are brilliant, I love that ships magnetically attach to character bases for easy variability. I only recently acquired Unfinished Business, so this playthrough is helpful!
Watching your playthrough, encouraged myself and my wife to bring it back to the table this Sunday morning. Unfortunately for me I was beaten 7-10, playing as Ketsu Onyo and Llando, such a great game. Thanks for the inspiration to play 😊
Hi Colin! Yup yup yup - sure! Bring in another star wars adventure to us, go go go! (Especially since I think I prefer watching you play it than seeing me try things with dice. 😁) As for characters I'll vote for Maz! But you have to voice her as per the movie once (not more, we want you to keep your voice operational. :) )
Haha!! My last play was with Maz so it's gotta be someone fifteenth! I wish I was that good at voices!! Thanks Yan so much for watching even if you don't love dice. These ones don't bother me much there are so many ways to mitigate them!
I think that game was a good game and really crazy how the the entire ending was just in that last 1/4 of the board, and then the final was just on that last tile of space.
I hope you play some more of this. My favorite Star Wars character is Bossk and it’s great to see him in this game, but I feel like my play style is better suited for Black Kyrrsantan.
@@MeetMeAtTheTable If the game would have continued, you would have hunted down Han Solo (an Imperial sympathizer), defeated the Syndicate and the Hutts would ultimately enslave the Rebels, let's be honest, lol.
After seeing that playthrough, I’m kinda torn honestly. I was interested in Xia but limited availability and price go a bit against it. Now that I saw Outer Rim in all its glory, it seems to be a good candidate in the same vein, even though it clearly lacks the exploration side of Xia. Thoughts on how both games are for you? Thanks in advance!
This is hard and is why I own both... I feel that it depends on if you care about theme and if you want a more eldritch horror experience vs. A true sandbox experience. I love them both for different reasons and would gladly play either one of them! I am sorry that is not helpful haha!!
Ah, I love this one! I need to set it up tonight and play! I generally prefer SW:OR to Xia; mostly for the IP, but also because XIA can be ridiculously "random" sometimes. Though if Unfinished Business hadn't come out, I think my preference would be flipped in favor of Xia...
Also you should have been doing your combat stuff first before the opponent, just because it gives you an advantage and makes you not waste stuff (Chewbacca ability).
You are supposed to move them their fastest route, but I was just noticing at some points you were not doing that but were moving them a little bit slower than they should have been.
@@MantineMantine Actually so long as they are moving closer I believe you get to choose the route! check that in the ruls I am pretty sure that is right! Part of the cool part of the Patrols you can manipulate them!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable: Well, they are basically the same game. Except this has the baggage of the IP canon. (In which they do very, very well.) Where as Xia does not. I cannot play myself (well, my alter-ego,) but force to play somebody else's charterer. In Xia, I'm Arik (pronounced Erik, BTW) the spaceship captain, or Arika Fox the (female) Warlock in D&D, or Arik Wolfe the MechWarrior pilot in BattleTech, etc. However, I know I would enjoy playing this game. And I totally loved your game. I do disagree on one point: I don't see this as alt universe where Chewie didn't meet Han, but rather a time, in canon before Chewie met Han, after the prequels, before A New Hope. Anyway, see you in your next video.
That is so cool!! I can totally see what you mean where Xia you are your own captain vs. Here it's harder to do that because these are characters with story lines. Thanks so much for watching my friend!!

The magnetic ships is amazing!! I love em so much! Thanks so much for watching!!
Awesome play-through! Thank you, Colin😃
Chewie is the best!! Thanks so much for watching!!
Well done Chewie!!
He is awesome!!!
Love this game and greatly enjoyed your play! Thank you a lot! Your new upgrades look fantastic and really like the Xia credits :D
Yeah the upgrades make it so cool!! Thanks so much for watching!!

So glad you pulled it out! Playing just the base game?
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Unfinished Business included, never play without it 👍🏼
@ancientvirus heck yes!!!
The expansion really made this game good.
Couldn't agree more!
An entire galaxy and everything comes down to one location? That's Star Wars, alright!
Haha!! Yes!!!! Thanks so much for watching!

@@MeetMeAtTheTable It is true... Darn, now that instills doubt in my mind... Fortunately, the expansion seems very hard to get by. :) :)
Ok yeah not worth it without the expansion so there you go!
Love the play through thanks so much 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! This game is so fun!!

So much fun!! Thanks for watching!
Nice playthrough. It's my favourite game when it comes to solo play. IG 88 is my favourite.
I can totally see why I love it so much!! Ig88 is awesome!!!
I hope you play some more of this. My favorite Star Wars character is Bossk and it’s great to see him in this game, but I feel like my play style is better suited for Black Kyrrsantan.
Sounds like I gotta try Bossk! I'm for sure playing this again I love this game! Thanks for watching!!
Yep, another Epic story. Great playthrough!
This game creates such a great story!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

That would have been epic!!!!
Just as I was getting this out again….brilliant…have you done all the new Unsettled planets- he asked cheekily
Thanks so much for watching!! I have 2 planets left to do!!

SW Rebellion next ?
Maybe???
Go for it Colin! Rebellion is amazing and your playthroughs are a blast to watch.
I painted all the minis for that one too....
Star Wars Outer Rim along with Firefly are my favourite sandbox games. I do hope FFG release another Outer Rim expansion or new deck of cards
Same here!! I hope they will! Thanks for watching!
Also you should have been doing your combat stuff first before the opponent, just because it gives you an advantage and makes you not waste stuff (Chewbacca ability).
Thanks!!
While watching I think that you were moving the patrols a little weird and not exactly how they are supposed to move, but I think it’s fine.
Certainly could be true! What am I doing wrong,
You are supposed to move them their fastest route, but I was just noticing at some points you were not doing that but were moving them a little bit slower than they should have been.

Thanks for making me spend more money! 😂
Haha that's what I'm here for!!
Can you pay the AI with 2 players?
Yes you can! One that is bounty based and one that is job based!
This game just prints stories!
100% agree just like Zia!!
Awesome game, awesome play-through, but I still like Xia better, because theme: Elite > Star Wars.
Totally get that! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
