Очень печально, что люди вынуждены покидать свою родину, могилы предков, традиции, язык, потому что нет возможности жить по-человечески. Мы рады всем адекватным людям. Но очень жаль, что старому доброму миру приходит конец. С двухэтажными автобусами, пятичасовым чаем и Шерлоком Холмсом. Жаль старую добрую Англию
Я переезжаю к своей девушке. Мы планируем вернуться в Англию примерно через 10 лет. Ничто не будет забыто. Спасибо за ваш комментарий

I'm Russian, lived in the US, a little bit in Germany, now in the Austrian part of Italy. The nature here is amazing but comfort-/ security-/ culture-/healthcare accessibility -wise none of those countries compare to Mother Russia.
Also in Russia we have a cult of childhood. Starting from special foods and water for children, children's theatres, other events, to the best kindergartens in the world, where children are fed, educated, kept all day long, they get to sleep, some have swimming pools, karate lessons etc. This costs very little. The diet is balanced. Certain quantity of proteins, fats, carbs, vitamins and minerals that kindergartens and schools have to feed to the kids. You won't find children being given crackers or biscuits by school. Because it's not of any health- value. Music and art schools, almost for free, where kids get the best classical education in the field... there's so much value in all that

Для меня как работающего человека и выставляющему в приоритет свое здоровье платные исследования и консультации вполне приемлемы по цене.
Почему выбираю платно? Потому что выбираю клинику и врача по желанию, время посещения, возможности попасть к специалисту высокого уровня. Так что зря вы критикуете(
Есть льготники кому положены бесплатные лекарства, между прочим на постоянной основе и все через свою местную государственную поликлинику.
Запись на бесплатный прием в бесплатную поликлинику через госуслуги очень удобно
В четверг пришла с температурой в бесплатную поликлинику, моего терапевта не было. Меня сразу направили на прием к другому врачу. С приема получила направление на рентген. Времени потратила на все с учётом очереди 1 час. Получила оплачиваемый больничный лист.
Через госуслуги в режиме онлайн сразу записалась на следующий прием в понедельник к своему терапевту. Нет телефона или компьютера с интернетом, пожалуйста везде работают телефонные горячие линии готовые записать вас на прием и дать любую консультацию. Где ещё вы так сможете сделать?

По поводу переезда
1 Нужно учить язык (хотя бы основы) Хоть каждый второй в России и знает английский язык, но практики общения у тех кто знает мало, поэтому трудно вам будет общаться.
2 Получите для начала туристическую визу (на 3 месяца) ваша девушка может оформить вам приглашение. Учтите на границе могут быть проблемы (первая проверка граждан недружественных стран может занять 8-10 часов) Последующие посещения России будут занимать меньше времени на пограничном контроле.
3 В России все по другому и вам придется привыкать к свободной жизни в реале а не на бумаге, но не переживайте за пару недель привыкните не бояться и не оглядываться по сторонам. (В зависимости от региона в России законы могут отличаться (почитайте что разрешено что запрещено в том регионе куда едите) но не переживайте к туристам отношение лояльное, чуть что не так сделаете вас поправят и научат)
4 Проще добраться через Сербию или Турцию можно и через Грузию (прямыми рейсами) ввоз валюты без декларирования до 10 000 долларов (в эквиваленте)
5 Средний расход в зависимости от города (еда жилье) 70 долларов в день
6 Сотовая связь и интернет (WI-FI во всех общественных местах бесплатный кафе парки аэропорты) Симку купите на месте в России 4 основных оператора сотовой связи (у каждого своя зона покрытия) в среднем цена sim карты 5 долларов в месяц (300 минут разговора +50гБ интернета) Есть разные тарифы выберете на месте сами.
7. Безопасность по всей России на порядок выше чем в Европе (но и у нас бывают преступники) Половина страны отпускает детей гулять на улицу одних и это многое говорит о безопасности в стране.

I’m a Brit living in UK and have recently returned from ten days in Russia split between Saint Petersburg and Moscow.
I enjoyed every minute of it and felt safer walking around and riding the Metro than I do in my home town.
I found Russians to be respectful and would go out of their way to help me when I needed it.
I saw no litter, no graffiti, no chewing gum marks on the pavement and no unruly behaviour.
Russia is full of culture and history.
I had no major issues on border control using an E-visa as I have an Irish passport.
I’m planning on visiting Russia again for a longer period next time.
This is awesome to hear. I was so surprised by how amazing the country is. I obviously have only seen a very small part. So I can't make a comment about all of Russia. Thank you for sharing your experiences. How do you travel there? Through Estonia?
@@BritishChef436 yes I flew to Tallinn and then took the coach to Saint Petersburg. As you may know the border crossing at Narva/Ivangorod is on foot only so one coach drops you at Narva and then there is another coach to meet you on the other side after you're competed all the border formalities.
I enjoyed the coach ride as you get to see quite a bit of the countries on the way.
With the sanctions the trip took a bit of organising but it was well worth the effort.
It's nice that you still will be very close to the sea once you move to St. Petersburg!

Yes, otherwise you will miss a see for sure. But you have to first make there your vacations, it is not an easy country to live though nowadays no country in the west is easy either. However you do not know Russia and it can be a good or a bad thing, you have to feel it before you move. At least it would be wiser.

❤ Saint Petersburg got a lot of English-speaking people living there anything that but you waiting around it’s not gonna help you if you’re going to move you guys to just move so you can hear the language all around you make friends and eventually it’s just going to help you with learning the language, the older, you are the harder it is if I were you, I would actually take your son There with you I think that there’s so much opportunities for young people. Russia is climbing to the top. There is lots of future there and I think you would really flower in that country and he’s so young he can learn the language very quickly.

Just so you know, Russian does have four seasons, but Saint Petersburg. It gets very cold there and there’s a lot of grey days just like in England, but there’s also lots of beautiful and sunny days. I hope you are studying Russian at least a few words in day because there’s gonna be a lot of help for you and I hope that you can find a job easily and if you don’t have a family I’m sure you’ll have no problem making one there!!

@@BritishChef436 If your GF is Russian meet her friends/family often and just immerse yourself in the language and the non-verbal gestures. If you hitting the language books too, within a year your level of Russian ability will rise quickly. But if you just hang out with other English-speaking expats, you'll never improve.

What city does she live in? In larger cities many people speak English and in smaller cities, fewer speak English but you can still find there are enough to get by, while you learn. Maybe your kids would want to go also, because Russia is a great place to live with far more more access to culture, much safer, everyone gets a long, fast growing economy, very low cost of living. Depending on where, seasons are more dramatic but all seasons are very social including winter when every building in most central boiler plants pipe hot water for space heating it is really comfortable. I live in the city center of St Petersburg since moving from California 24 years ago.I have been in 92 countries but Russia the best one

@oliviao3686 not during the winter. Where I live. It's extremely rare to get to minus 1. And we never get snow. When I was in Saint petersburg December last year. Snow everywhere for months. The temperature was lucky to be at minus 4 sometimes

I just read that you are planning to return to England in about 10 years. Life is so unpredictable that you can't plan anything anymore, so far ahead. I hope you stay in Russia for good.

По честному. Это было 5.30 утра. И я не показывал вам главный пляж. Но, к сожалению, мой город очень маленький и очень бедный. Это неточное изображение Англии.
@@BritishChef436 Да у меня в городе(населением 40 тыс) в 5 утра уже 7 тыс человек на улице, первая смена в 6 утра начинается на промышленных предприятиях , потом пик в 8 утра школьники и остальные работающие + детишки в садик.
И круглые сутки город не спит кто то работает кто гуляет с домашними питомцами, кто то с работы возвращается

I live in Ekaterinburg and there are sooo many great restaurants here. They are divine. The people are very educated and polite. The theatres are crowded. Welcome. Best place to start a family band have plenty of kids. Mine study hockey and tennis for free. Government care a lot nowadays about people

Come to our city of Vyborg, it is as similar as possible to your homeland. There is also the Gulf of Finland, seagulls, you can live in the suburbs if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the city.
Приезжайте к нам в город Выборг, он максимально похож на вашу родину. Там тоже есть Финский залив, чайки, можно жить в пригороде, если не нравится городская суета.

Wow I never saw this side of England. Oceans actually scare me lol but if there is one place in the UK that would interest me it would be places like Ireland but I just don't like the damp weather and I am too old to move anywhere! There's another British youtuber who moved to Russia. I think if you like the ocean or water Russia has beaches too.

Dear British Chef, before settling in Russia for a long time you have to diligently study the Russian multinational cousine : borshch, shchi, solyanka, okroshka, svekol'nik; pel'meni, vareniki, golubtsy, beef-Stroganoff, shashliki.
But the most important, especially for the winter holidays, are the vodka-chasers : lightly pickled cucambers, thick-sliced salo (bacon) with "mother-in-law's" Russian mustard, and salads - herring-under-the-furcoat, Olivier, vinegret !
Still I hope your own recipé of beef-Wellington-in-Russia 😮 will be famously the best !

The bakery in Russia will be perfect if married to a tea-room, which is called "chainaya" in Russian .
And, of course, the baker has to sell "boubliki" (bagels), "baranki" (smaller bagels), and "soushki" (very small dry bagels of a million varieties) - all these are the must in the Russian chainaya !
Russian honey-cake "Medovik", multilayered cake "Napoleon", and the very special Russian sweet treat called "Zefir", especially Zefir in chocolate, are also very popular in Russia.
I may even recommend the name for your bakery in Russia : ПЕКАРНЯ-ЧАЙНАЯ "У АНГЛИЧАНИНА" = Englishman's Bakery,&Tea-Room.
