Anne, what a lovely comment from you! Greetings from a place almost as far away from you as can be. I am a big fan of Gert's - much of this video sounds like Bach's Jesu meine Freude, but slightly different.
Without doubt other Organists in our time are also extremely talented, what set G&M into a class of their own is the interpretation and tempo, and using the Organ to it's potential. Thank you for sharing your amazing skill Gert.
Truly sublime! A welcome "island" of peace, hope and perspective in these troubled times, especially here in the USA. Heartfelt thanks for this beautiful musical offering !!
👏👏👏👏👏👏BRAVOOO ! Gerts shoes are in very good conditions ! Regular waxing and polishing is important to keep the leather soft and comfortable ! Cheers 👏👏😘🚀🌍
Hej. I miss the beautiful picture ,where you, Gert, stand in a church with very colorfull pictures above on the wall. It was so colorfull an lively impression
Hard to believe that music this lovely, this melodious, this traditional was written in the 20th century. Not a hint of Rutter-klang to be heard. A blessing!
Does anybody know where I can get sheet music of this piece? I've found some printed albums with Jan Mulder's compositions, but there is no shipping to the place where I live. It is so beautiful and so unavailable that I am desperate!
so, gertie got rid of his page turner? He was half the group. Like the captain a and tanille, simon and garfunkle, elsiabith talyor and richard burton.
@@oludotunjohnshowemimo434 Each organ builder is unique. We had a Trumpet 8' in Deventer that "sound like a cow bell" according to one of the professional players. The reeds do mix far better after the latest restauration. And I think that trumpet register went to a different organ.
It is midnight in the UK. What a beautiful and prayerful way to end the day. God bless.

I'm always your fan, Gert, awesome performance, virtuose ! God bless you.
This is an excellent, healing massage for the soul.
A beautiful and gentle piece of music, sensitively and intuitively played by Gert. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world!
Mélodie douceur qui fait du bien au cœur 🎶🎵🎶Merci
Absolutely sublime. Thank you.
Pleasing melody for a sunny Saturday. Thank you Gert, for uploading this wonderful video to tie us over until your next live concert. 🤗
Hi Terry, if I listen carefully Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring is in the base of this aria I think
Hi Peter, I couldn't place it so I will listen again. It was very peaceful.
@@PHPJN7 Yes Peter, I have picked up the first couple of bars of "Jesu' Joy of Man's Desiring" about four times. Fabulous.
@@annemackellar6293 Hi Anne, there is another melody in there but so far I haven't been able to figure that one out.

great
That is a beautiful piece. What stop did you use for the solo stop? It was gorgeous! Thank you, Gert.
Must have been the Dulciaan 8' from the 4th manual debovenkerk.nl/speeltafel-en-dispositie/
Sounds like the oboe or clarinet reed with the tremulant.

Inlevingsvermogen?
