The state of aged care in Tasmania is under scrutiny after allegations emerged of rough handing and chemical restraint without consent in multiple facilities across the state.
One family told the ABC they believed their relative's life was "shortened" due to the poor standard of care he received at a government-run aged care facility.
Tasmania's health department says the concerns raised by the family are being taken "very seriously" and are being "actively reviewed".
