Want to shout out Fredrick her guitar player. The man is rock solid, never steps on Aroura's vocals.The perfect side man.
Fredrik is perfection.
Literally every performance he kills it
Solid is the word. Whether he's acoustic or electric, he's dead on with tasteful arrangements. He is also a session, studio musician. Originally Askjell's (One of Aurora's producers) preferred guitarist collaborator. And he is an excellent multitasker. He easily plays bass pedals while nailing different guitar, mandola, various effects, vocal harmony parts etc without raising an eyebrow.
And he is very flexible when it comes to Aurora's sudden ideas and spontaneous changes. "Power team"
I love his facial expressions when Aurora is on one of her rants.
As Brian Eno sayed in an interview:
The Norwegian singer Aurora, who's one of the most extraordinary people i've met. Absolutely original human being. You just think, who designed her ? She is ... she's such a oneoff wounderfull person.

One thing I just realize, when she said that pepole are beautyfull when they just open their hart and let the music in, she is so wright cuz we can watch you being touch by her celest voice and enjoye it, you are beautyfull and I,m not talking about beauty stander, ( wich you are anyway) I'm talking about being able to witness your soul pooring out of you smile and it is beautyfull. Smaltown boy realy deserved that you listen to it, the guy got an incredible voice and it's a true 84-85 typical song that I use to dance till 3 am ( yes I'm from Quebec and our bar close at 3 loll) Those years had some iconic song for gay comunauty, Smalltown boy is one of them.

Fun little show with a strong message! Her voice is always great, but I love when she gets a chance to show off her personality too. Also cool that you never know what you're going to get, even when you know the song. You just know it's going to be really good.

Haven't watched this one in a while, so this was fun, thank you! 😊She sounds awesome in her Vevo live performances, but I love her small set were she's even more stripped down than that with just her and Fredrik, or her alone on the piano. I sometimes go back to "Runaway" on Genius just to hear her voice only.

As always I listen it technically from work (but I usually work from home in Tuesday ;) ). I could wait and do it after but I can not miss the treat :). Beautiful acoustic sounds from Aurora. This small online concert has its own vibe... beautiful vibe. Of course there are some Auroras things happening (f.e. with peeing ;) ). I wonder if she made shorter it because it or she made all songs planned :). Parkour! :)

Small town Boy was like a hymn back then
I was 16 then, still in the closet, waiting for the moment I could tell it to my friends and relatives... Boy George, Bronsky Beat, Madonna, were so important to us queer kids... thank God times have changed a lot. But new role models, like Aurora , are soooo important. I wish I could experience puberty again, with all this freedom...

I don’t know if you have see Cure for me with Silvana Estrada, it’s perfect, as you say she can change up any song and put her passion into it. By the way if you get a chance listen to Bronski Beats song, Jimmy Somerville’s vocals are to die for and as she said it was a game changer for its time. Jimmy Somerville sings in falsetto, maybe the highest pitch you will ever hear in a male pop singer. I love how Aurora, who could easily sing as high, uses a lower register for her cover. 🤗
