This was a very personal decision and is not a decision I recommend to others - just a decision I made for myself. If you decide to undergo the procedure, it’s up to you to evaluate whether or not it’s the right decision for you. Here are some studies I found helpful during my research. The research is not currently conclusive as of April 2023. There are mixed results and the concensus seems to be that more studies are needed. This seems to be a very important area of study so I will make sure to keep my eye out for future research done on both saline and silicone implants.

If she said she struggled with anxiety, does she need to have a diagnosis of an Anxiety disorder in order for her story about her struggles to be useful? No she doesn't.
It's not harmful for her to be very transparent with her struggles just because she doesn't want to label them. Just because *you* think she has an ED doesn't mean that she does.
I actually think it's more beneficial for her to not label herself with a specific ED (not that I think she has one) so that her content can be more relatable to a wider audience. Lots of people who don't have an ED, or who are in denial about their EDs, can watch and relate to her content in a way that they wouldn't if she made it about struggling not just with food and body image but with a specific ED.

I absolutely disagree, and I sadly know a thing or two about ED. No one talking about body transformation on YT has a positive relationship with food and their own body image, and she clearly hates herself. It sure isn't inspiring to me. I watch her videos every now and then when they pop up in my feed, just to see how little mental progress she has actually made. Monetizing her ED is probably not helping her, I bet relapses make for some crazy views.

@@patheticfangirl792 But it's made worse by the fact that she will never call it an ED. She tries hard to call it everything else and that level of denial is toxic for viewers. I really struggled with an eating disorder for many years, but decided to take a leap of faith with going all in, because you did it and showed all the details entailing that journey. It made me less afraid and better prepared, because you talked about it all. Not gonna lie, it was still gruesome at times, feeling fat and hating the way I looked so damn much. But it's SO WORTH IT! 2 years later, I'm at the weight I was when I restricted and over exercised, but I eat what I want and how much I want. Going out with friends or being on vacation is no longer a constant battle and reason to cry. Of course there are bad body image days, and I'll always have to push back when unhealthy thoughts try to creep back in, be aware of that, but after 10 years of disordered eating I'm finally in a good place with food (and most days my body too). And getting that freedom back has given life so much more joy

Stephanie, you have helped change my life for the better. I came back to RUclips after a few years, the few years of which I have been practicing “all in” for myself. I struggled with an eating disorder (self-diagnosed) for five years and am on year 3 of going “all in”. It has been the most challenging and most life changing/uplifting experience of my entire life thus far at age 22. Sometimes I don’t even realize I am restricting still, completely unintentionally, especially more recently. Watching your videos again now and seeing your beautiful progress gives me significant and reassuring motivation to keep letting go of control, and to trust my body. Our bodies are miracles and deserve love. Life is meant to be fun, wild, and free. Your courage and trust to go all in has clearly shown true healing, internally and externally. It is important to take action with the intention of self-love and longevity. Life is more than having pants fit today a certain way, it’s about creating the best life for your future self so you can thank yourself for treating yourself with care. Health is listening to the incredible intelligence of the body. We need food for energy and for soul-fulfillment-there is no room for shame or guilt. Eating freely has done wonderful things to me and how I live my life. I am a different person. Listening to myself has encouraged self-responsibility and has opened my life to career growth. The journey I have been in on in health has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I will continue to support you and want to express deep gratitude for your courage to share your experiences and your knowledge.

They encouraged me not to do it. When women go to doctors with fatigue, anxiety, weight gain, hair loss, etc, it might be illuminating if the doctors also asked if they have a breast augmentation. We might see more of a connection to these things and heavy metal toxicity if those were linked in intakes. Im doing so much better already, I’m enjoying my curves on good days, enjoying my strength in the gym, and enjoying delicious food. Thank you so much for all you do!

it's been almost a year since my All in journey. i have never in my life felt so blessed, energised, positive and open-minded, than i do now due to the fact that my body and mind are not struggling to get food anymore. i nourish myself decently, i stopped working out to help my body be fully recovered and rested. thank you Stephanie for sharing yor amazing experience with the world - it is very very needed for people who are still trying to battle with their own beautiful bodies. All in recovery isn't that scary, as it may seem at the beggining of your journey, believe me. i wish i started my recovery way earlier, but i guess everything has its own right time. to all people out there - eating disorders are real, anorexia and bulimia are real, and they ruin your life. fortunately, they can be stopped. (but please first consult a specialist who actually knows much about ED and is willing to guide you). love and kisses!

@@OfficialGundem The comment said “it doesn’t automatically mean you hate your body” not that she isn’t unhappy in some way with her body. It just doesn’t necessarily equate to: I hate everything about my physical form, I have no self esteem and tie everything to how I look. You can want to change one part of your appearance, but not necessarily be consumed by self loathing or be worse off in comparison to when you starved yourself. Personally I’ve thought about getting a breast augmentation for years. It likely will happen when I’m in my thirties, but if someone told me I couldn’t get one for whatever reason (health, finances etc) then I’d be fine. It’s something I desire but it won’t make it break my confidence. I think plastic surgery is an extremely nuanced subject. But I also totally get why you’re questioning her- she’s even admitted to having a fixation on her body so I’d say it is worth a second look.

Hi I just came across your channel. Everything you’re saying is my mentality but in an opposite sense. I’m super strict with my diet and at times I do binge on “healthier” less fear foods because I am so strict. When I keep myself in “check” feel like I’m doing well. Otherwise I go the opposite way and loose control. I don’t listen to my hunger cues and can over indulge easily if I permit myself to eat highly palatable foods. Even though my life does revolve around food, and fitness. I feel like I cannot let myself eat standard foods. At one point in my life I weighed almost 290lbs and I never want to get to that point again. I was extremely depressed and unhappy. Today I mourn the foods that gave me a moment of pleasure but realize that there is more to life than eating these food products that are so readily available and highly addicting.
I hope we can all get to a place where we are at peace with ourselves and extend some grace to one another because we never know what others are going through 💖

And girl, if you wanted to get a breast surgery, and you did it with health and safety in mind, which you always do because you're very thorough, then good for you! I appreciate your honesty and respect your decision to get breast implants. I would like disclosure to you I have had four sets of implants over 30 years. Each set I had capsular contracture which is why I had to replace each set. As well as breast implants are recommended to be exchanged for a new set every 10 years so the likelihood you will have surgery more than once in your lifetime is a high probability. Something to consider. I had my implants removed two years ago and feel free.

Here's a thought. Intuitive eating = not overthinking eating. Given that she's still clearly overthinking , she CANNOT claim to be eating intuitively. She's also clearly still overthinking training rather than just moving her body and doing what feels good. She has an eating disorder and needs to admit that as a first step (rather than basically using every word in the dictionary other than "eating disorder") in order to start healing. ❤

On the other hand, I don’t feel guilty for not adding protein to every meal. Sometimes it happens.

    B) I fully support your breast aug no matter what your reasoning was. Honestly I got them myself in 2016, but then had to watch every influencer get theirs removed and denounce them in the following years. I also did my research beforehand and was happy with my results (although i wish i would have gone one size smaller, but whatevs), but felt so isolated when everyone else started disowning theirs. Whether you get plastic surgery or you dont, you deserve to be happy and not made to feel ashamed. I loved my body before and i love it now, implants just gave me a little tiny extra boost of happiness.

For people watching this video I think it’s important they are aware that: Silicone breast implants were not tested for safety prior to being allowed on the market in 2006. The liquid silicone implants were even banned in the 90s. The current silicone used is a ‘gummy bear’ type but is still silicone. The FDA gave of a black box warning (most serious warning the FDA can give) not that long ago, this means these devices carry a serious health risk including a type of lymphoma (lymph node cancer) that only occurs in women with implants. The silicone leaches into the body and in many women (30%) they rupture within 10 years. The longer the implants are in the body, the higher the rupture rate. They are thought to rupture due to a reaction between the implant and your body. On internet you can find surgeons showing how firm the implants are, smashing a door shut against the implants for example. However they don’t stay like that inside your body. Please be informed before you make your decision, if you still decide to have implants after being informed that’s great too. However too many women have been misinformed. Side effects were not reported anywhere for a long time and if not reported there is no data. Two major implant manufacturers received warning letters from the FDA for not providing the postmarket data as agreed… wonder what was taking these companies so long, also the studies of these two biggest manufacturers have a large dropout percentage which is obviously not ideal for the quality of the data

My breast augmentation might have been the best thing I ever did for my body image. I use to think that the only way for me to look good with my naturally tiny breasts and boxy frame was to fit into a super skinny aesthetic. In my mind there were two ways to be beautiful and feminine… one was to be a super petite fairy-like ballerina or a bombshell with curves. Since I had no curves I also struggled with extreme neurosis and restriction around food and it took up all of my twenties. Once I hit 30 and finally got the courage to get a breast augmentation, I realized that I could be a little “softer” and it didn’t actually bother me at all. And it happened overnight. I stopped restricting food and did my own version of “all in” and ironically, my weight went down to pretty much where I always wanted it to be. I also looked into breast implant illness and there didn’t seem to be enough hard evidence to support it. My biggest regret is worrying about what others would think if I got one. If I had done it earlier I probably wouldn’t have wasted all of my 20s in a binge restrict cycle.

So glad to see this update and that you are doing well! I can’t wait to read your book - it will be worth the wait. I have breast implants and have never regretted it so you get all the support from me!

I love that you did share this. When you were reflecting at the end, it made remember when I finished my body building journey. I watched all of your all-in videos. It was monumental in helping me feel better about coming out of that. It’s been 3 years and I’m a power lifter now.. I still struggle sometimes, but it’s great to listen to you and know that everyone is going through the same things.

I started following you when I started competing in Body Building and really connected with your journey. I am learning to embrace my curves, and watching you go through that journey has been really inspiring. Thanks for sharing. It takes someone very strong to put their lifes up like this ❤

I found your videos a few years ago when I was struggling with EDNOS and your decision to to all in really helped me take my recovery seriously. Thank you and I am so proud of you and your journey and all the hard work you have put into improving your relationship with food and your mental health

The only thing I could ever judge of you is you not making the decision to get a long bob. But all jokes aside, you are the most inspiring and transparent woman I’ve encountered on any social media platform. Thanks to you, I’m not afraid to admit that I struggle. And you showing that struggling doesn’t equal to failure, has me fighting stronger every time to overcome those intrusive thoughts xx

I've been watching you for years. I used to absolutely adore your cheat days and the enjoyment you would have eating all of the food. It's been just a joy being able to witness your journey with food and your body evolve and the way you discuss it so openly is really inspiring. Watching you love yourself and your body through all of its changes makes me more inclined to do the same.
So happy for you and all of your growth! Fighting that diet brain is HARD but you're doing it!!! Your physique update was so vulnerable and we appreciate the transparency. You look amazing

Girl I remember when you first went all in and I was at my lowest point struggling with my anxiety with food. I was consistently going to the gym but not making progress because I wasnt eating enough and watching you progress I remember I felt jealous because I couldn’t overcome my fear with food. It was a weird time and I was stuck in a vicious cycle when I was scared to eat because I feared my tummy would hurt and then I would feel sick because I wasn’t eating enough. But you have motivated me so much to not give up. One thing that helped me was watching mukbangs it just worked wonders on me and im back to my foodie self. Thank you for always updating us on your personal journey with food and your body. Much love! 💖💖

I appreciate your honesty, but not wanting to be fat and having self control is not unhealthy. Stop sending this message.

Hi. I’m working on stopping dieting. I came from 470 pounds being super morbidly obese to 198. Not tiny but I met my doctors goal for me. I lost 70 pounds this past year eating carnivore. I’ve watched you and understand where you’ve come from.

I love your honesty. Big kudos. But you should also admit to yourself that you don't actually love your body as it is

this totally made my day! I have followed you since I was in middle school (I am a senior in college now). I did my personal all-in journey once you started, and it has transformed my life and relationship with food. You have helped me become a kinder and more confident person. Thank you for your videos and I am so excited for your book!
