Some people have asked about the rainbows, it's just a lens flare! That's why i almost never wear a lens hood, because I love all sorts of light flares in my pictures :)
Girllllllllllllllllllll. YOUR talents are sick !!! you are my favorite photographer to watch & learn from. Amazing work as usual ... love your stuff...
You can always tell talent when you make it look so easy. Good for you .I am sure you have inspired so many people. Always fun to see what you do next.
The backlit blue dress pictures in the water were incredible! I loved the whole shoot, but these shots specifically. Very beautiful work in this set Irene! This video was the perfect inspiration for some summery style pics :)
I have been watching your videos occasionally but this is the first time I am impressed with your shoot using natural light, I like it very much. Keep up the good work Irene and thanks.
Would you consider doing a video on the planning process for your photoshoots from when come up with an idea to how you pick a location, find people to help with hair and makeup, etc. I feel like this is the part I get stuck on often.
You're a true artist...I bring a truck load of equipment and my work still lacks the art you bring to yours...great job...thank you for the inspiration.
Irene - I really enjoy your behind the scenes photo shoot videos. I like you statement about shooting without a lens hood. Will have to start experimenting with that.
Hi Irene, it is very interesting to me how you are able to manage contrast in the strong backlight scenes in this photoshoot. I typically would either use reflector fill or flash fill, but I'll need to give this a try.
There was a comment giving harsh criticism about the model's eyes sitting in shadow at 6:53. Wanted to say that's actually one of my favorites from this shoot exactly for that reason - it adds a sliver of mischief and wonder to the photo and is a nice break from everyone else's over-edited eyes that are brighter than the sun. Keep up the good work Irene!
The second outfit is amazing! Queen of software at her best. Videography improved a lot too. The way you direct the model improved too. I have not tuned in for a while because I've been busy, but it's so good, when I do. The line that the bridge makes in the background actually makes a difference, depending on where it is in the photo. I like it when it's just above her head, forming an arch. You seem to be shooting from lower angle more, too, if I'm not mistaken, usually you prefer from top, hence the ladder.
Your photography continues to inspire. I always look forward to watching your videos and learning a little bit more. Thanks for doing what you do keep up the awesome work!
Every shot you take was nothing but Perfect. And to the Model she's really good.I admired as a Photographer. More awesome videos.I also love Photography but in some way I want to be a model.I love the way you interact with Model.
Hi Irene, love your style of photography. Do you spot meter your subjects in this type of strong backlight situation, because your backgrounds never seem too blown out?
OMG I can almost not watch this vid.. all I can think about is SPIDERS!! That is all that would be in that grass where I live .... YIKES!! Love you Irene and thank you for sharing your talent! Great video and beautiful model also ;)
Model was gorgeous, I bet you can't take bad picture of her. Loved video and shots, just wished to engaged model with water more :) Thanks for inspiration, Irene
I see you did not use a flash. How do you get the exposure correct and is there a lot of post processing here. Really beautiful images. You are an inspiration to Photographers and Models.
Beautiful photo shoot and gorgeous model! Love your work! i wanted to ask... what do you set your white balance on? Auto or something else? Your pictures are so beautiful and colorful and sharp! That's my goal!
Wow Irene, I really love how you do your shoots with a lot of passion. It really inspire me a lot, and I learned so much from you which I want to do with my friend hopefully soon.🥰
Oooh Irene, these photos are GORGEOUS! I love that you added the parts where you're directing the model, please add more speaking clips in future vids! Could you also include how long your photoshoots last? Since you had to cinch her dress, did the clothing clips get in the way of your shots? Thanks girl!
thank you!! Usually my shoos last about 2 hours, the clothing pins are not a big deal, but for some pictures i had to re-position them, so its a bit inconvenient.
When you said 7pm I almost choked on air lol. In my country the sunset is around 5:30pm, so 18:00pm is already pitch black! Love the photos (as always) and great video!
I saw your work and its truly amazing. Just wondering can you show us your work with any photoshop so we can ge the idea how is it look like with any clean up.
Beautiful work as always, Irene. Are you a commercial photographer, or do you just love sharing your work and instructions with others? ( May sound like a dumb question considering all of the models that you shoot.)
Its beautiful - you set it all up and caught some magic - cant help look at the images though and think how much better they would look with some catch light in her eyes, even a reflector would have worked for most of these.
Hi Irene! I LOVE this photoshoot! Question: how do you achieve portraits with such contrast and saturation when you have a backlit model? Is it all photoshop adjustments or is there a specific technique I'm missing? Do you get the sun right behind the model or a little to the side? Thank you so much for the amazing videos!!!
Nice video! I've shot many portraits using the same camera and lens you used in this video! I've got to say, you did an excellent job at teaching and givings tips. You should definitely make more like these and add in a tutorial with editing apps like Lightroom mobile, VSCO, Picsart and Miku Limited. The last one I've mentioned is still pretty underrated but I bet you can make the app interesting for amateur photographers like me!
I really love the jobs you do, I love how fine is the appreciation of the environments you choose, the videos and photos are very good, greetings from Spain.
Hey There! I love you pictures and your videos! You are an amazing photographer. I watched this video and I have one question! In this video are using manual or automatic focus?
Some people have asked about the rainbows, it's just a lens flare! That's why i almost never wear a lens hood, because I love all sorts of light flares in my pictures :)

I loooove the look of the 85mm with backlight!! Wow!
This model is gorgeous.
Thanks Irene, amazing. I often get into trouble with green tint on the skin, shooting in environments like this. How do you manage that?
Another great BTS from Irene, Thank you! You keep up inspiring.

Can you do a video about how to be a better director while shooting? I'm so bad at it :(
gorgeous shoot, gorgeous model
Love your work Irene. Always an inspiration for me 👍👍☺️
How did you avoid green color casts on her skin reflecting from the grasses?
Wow Irene, I really love how you do your shoots with a lot of passion. It really inspire me a lot, and I learned so much from you which I want to do with my friend hopefully soon.🥰
With no reflector or flash, how do you get the model's face to light up? Beautiful work, as always. Thanks!
the light reflects of the water+ editing
Do you underexpose your pictures to avoid blowing the highlights, and then bring up more light on the subject in photoshop?
Amazing pics .... I had a question. Do we need to keep the flash on?
Insanely beautiful photography!!
gosh. your photos are beautiful! QUESTION: how did you keep shadows off her face without fill flash? thank you.
