To me the portraits with the 14 seem to give a more natural face, the 13 pro with its ultra-wide is giving the face a wide look, which to me at least is not quite so attractive or natural as the 14s perspective

I’m in a tight space right now! I was saving up for the 14 Pro but I’ve had obstacles for about a month that prevented me from getting the last paycheck to buy it. I was working a job with fam and they prevented me from working for personal reasons. Now I grew impatient and I want to buy the regular 14 since it’s all I can afford without waiting or saving more money. I wanted all of the pro features of the 14 Pro and I’ve noticed that the 13 Pro has them too, and it would be better to get the 13 Pro. However, I still really want the 14 Pro, I just don’t know what else to do. I have the 8 Plus and it’s bugging out on me, so I really need a new phone.
@@stella-ds9wn I have decided on the regular 14! This phone has a better camera than the 13 Pro with the Photonic engine and has a faster GPU even with the same chipset. The 14’s offer the fastest 5G on a smartphone with a new and bigger 5G antenna. The good thing is, it has Satellite connectivity and Crash detection so it helps for plenty terrible circumstances to come. The 13 Pro would be great but I’d say they’re tied in terms of what they offer. The camera is MUCH better in lowlight on the 14 and just has better contrast and colors. It’s not always giving a warm tint so it’s pretty realistic. The 13 Pro has more of the older camera set up with Deep Fusion so it looks like past cameras. I would say get the 14 for these features. For videography you also get Cinematic in 4K 30FPS which is really nice, you’ll also get Action Mode for the first time and it’s been really cool to use. These are trade offs for the Macro on the 13 Pro and the Telephoto lense. The display is 60HZ but if you come from an older phone with 60HZ you’ll be fine, the 120hz to 60hz difference won’t be huge unless you use a 120hz screen for more than a day. I can’t find the difference when in the Apple Store so it’s up to you, but it’s still really smooth and very quick. Screen was also ranked VERY color accurate. That’s all I know about it. As for the Ultrawide, it has a worse aperture, meaning it lets in less light, but it outperforms the 13 Pro in ways which is very interesting. Apple’s way of testing that Photonic Engine. ONE MORE THING! The front camera was HIGHLY upgraded with Autofocus and a much better aperture that lets in more light, only the 14’s have it so it’s a flex for social media and colors are fantastic, really helps with lowlight.
@@matiasmuttoni9044 I had the same doubt but I went for the 13 pro. honestly, I think there is no duel. 13 pro has far better screen, better cameras (same regular, better wide + zoom camera), better GPU and same CPU (look at the benchmark, they score absolutely the same). Only downside is the battery which is smaller.
@@smo6043 those are trade offs for future proof updates that the 14’s acquired this year. I like all the newer exclusive enhancements with the 14 and 14 Pro.

The more I see side-by-side comparisons, the more I get confused which one to buy. I was ready to get iphone 14, but my husband told me the camera on 13 pro is better. I mean the difference is marginal. If anything it seems 14 takes better scenery/nature shots, while 13 pro is better for selfies? My current phone is iphone X, which I was satisfied with until I saw my husband’s 14 pro max! That would tell you how much of a regular user I am. I’d still like to get good photos though.
@@raceofknowledge5070 no 14 has 172 grams and 13 pro is like 30 grams heavier look it up. But I can guarantee u 13 pro is heavy asf for daily use and 14 is even 1 gram lighter than 13
Cannot see much difference In some cases 14 camera feels clear However 14 front camera is clearly better this time. Since 13 pro have good 3 lense camera it’s better however in many shots when talking of rear shots. So many details in the front (14)camera..in video shots, 14 is better too! When taking photos, it clearly shows that 13 pro has good shots compared to photos in the rear. But I’m pretty sure that 14 is better in video records I saw. 14 base really has good photos compared since it only has 2 lenses, very competitive, I mean Apple really nailed it. But blames go for them since they didn’t add 14 Pro feature dynamic island and processor to the 14 Base. Overall, 14 is a good buy for someone who has 12,11 iPhones OR for someone who has 13 Base, It’s not baaad buuut, I believe someone who has 13 Base should buy 14 Pro, not 14 Base, feels like a money waste for the 13 base people if they buy 14 Base. 14 ✨ Apple did good in photos this time ❤️ nailed it with just 2 lenses

The sensor size of the ultra wide lense is the same. Only the aperture is bigger on the 13 Pro.
