- People of all abilities need a church where they can fully belong. Joni and Friends works to equip and mobilize churches to welcome and embrace people of all abilities by removing barriers and creating a church culture that sees all people as indispensable parts of the body of Christ, created in God’s image, and worthy of dignity and respect.

Loved it. It confirms our disabilities ministry over and over again.
This type of ministry is vital in churches. We have friends whose special needs child was welcomed into such a program and it changed her life! She was "supposed to live to be 13-14 , she passed at 32. She would tell us, "I have a job!" because she was welcoming others into the program at their church and showing them the ropes. How beautiful and needed! 🙏❤️

Im in the process of leaving a church because they feel my wheelchair gets in the way of other worshippers. It’s unbelievably sad and flys in the face of the gospel. I’m at the point of giving up on church at all. I’ve yet to find one that was accessible

I'm 70 I went to a church. They wanted to do exorcism on my dyslexia saying a demon can cause it. But the results I witnessed ????? 😢 and other thing's ?????
A church wanted to exorcise my dyslexia saying it can be caused by a demon 😢 yet there was people there doing things overlooked saying they being delivered. It comes off in layers. ????? 😢????
