Thank you for trying it out before I tried and failed! That's how I learn. But that's okay. It is part of the GROWING experience. You are great teacher and influence on my crafting abilities. Have a blessed night💞
I'm a scientist myself and am always wondering about the different variables in how something can be done with the best results and possibly less steps. I asked about this in a Facebook group of over 235k people and couldn't get an answer. This is exactly what I was looking for. I was curious as to weather or not vinyl or inkjet sticker paper would produce better colors. One thing I was also curious about that I didn't see you cover, is the difference between matte vinyl paper and glossy vinyl paper. I know when printing regular photos on photo paper, matte gives the best color, while glossy gives the sharpest appearance, but I am not sure if this is the same effect with vinyl paper. So would you recommend matte over glossy? Is your paper matte or glossy?
I wonder if it would have made a difference if you'd sealed them before applying epoxy. I know some stickers and things need to be sealed. Great comparison!
Hi there, thank you for the video. Did you have to seal the stickers before applying epoxy? I used sticker paper and the epoxy ruined it. I was told it was because I didn’t seal it.
Every time I epoxy over printable vinyl there are some major air bubbles which normally I don’t have an issue with...only when epoxying over the printable vinyl. Any suggestions would be super helpful...ty
Hi there! Do you have a video on how to paint the cup? I’m new to painting cups and tumblers so wasn’t sure if there is a method to it and I couldn’t tell if you painted the lip portion of the cup. Thanks so much!
So I probably would have hit the chalk paint with a think layer of epoxy, then the sticker paper and you can hit it with a heat gun to make the sticky backing adhere a little better then epoxy again :)
I'm totally dumb to this process and need help. I want to make horror cups, I want to print the image and wrap the vinyl around the whole cup. Do I put the epoxy to seal the image , so that it's safe for washing. I guess I need to know the second process after sticking the vinyl to the cup, what comes after?
HELP! I have the cricut printable vinyl and after I get it cut I put the transfer tape over it cause it is very detailed. When I put it on the cup and take the transfer tape off of the cup the color comes off with the transfer tape 🥺
In design space add a square. Unlock the dimensions and set the size to 6.75x9.25. Send it to the back and whatever you can fit on that template can fit on one page of whatever you are trying to print then cut. Delete the now rectangle before printing.
I tried this on a plastic cup and the epoxy sealed on to the print and cut although not the tumbler, it literally slipped right off. What am I doing wrong?
Love ur tutorials I've learned so much from u but I do have a question do u have to exproxy over ever cup or glass that u use and where can I get some exproxy and a cup turner

I've done where I use sticker paper on a cup and before epoxy I would go over the stickers with mod podge. It helped.
Thank you I will try today
What does the mod podge do to the sticker?

I think it may have stuck on better if you put epoxy on first and then the sticker paper. Love these cups though!!!

Bethany Hawkins I seal my paint with a thin coat of epoxy on my base coat of paint before I apply my sticker paper. It sticks without any problems.
Wow I was not aware that you can epoxy on plastic cup. How long do you think the printable vinyl will last without epoxy?
Hi there, thank you for the video. Did you have to seal the stickers before applying epoxy? I used sticker paper and the epoxy ruined it. I was told it was because I didn’t seal it.
Have you tried going over the cup with a melemime (magic eraser) sponge? It will gently buff giving the paint something to cling to.
There's actually waterslide paper that is white instead of clear/transparent! Super cool!
Thank you for that, I was really confused as to what the difference was between the two.
I noticed that you were able to utilize you entire sheet of paper on cricut. How did you do that?
HI thank you for this tutorial, however what's the difference between the printable sticker paper and printable vinyl.
Thank you so much for the tutorial ❤
Thank you can you do this directly on a plastic cup, interested to see how it behaves then.
Try primer paint before painting like with the chalk paint so it sticks to the paint.
Gotta try this. Tfs. So ready to see a craft room video 😁
Tamikka09 she has one up i believe
Loving the new video format. Get it gurl.....
I'm new to all of this. what type of ink do you use to print on the printable vinyl?

How did you get your printable area to be so big?!? I thought there was an update that would fix this but I still have the original 6.75x9.25.
I hate that I can't go bigger than that😫
I would like to know this as well!
Me too
Same question!
A single image can't exceed those measurements but it will increase the area automatically if you are doing multiple small images. So dumb.
Could you have used some spray adhesive on the cup with sticker paper? Maybe before you put the stickers on. Just a thought
Would you recommend the vinyl or the sticker paper for cardboard?
Can I use a Cricut mat with my Cameo 3?

Can you put printable vinyl on a glass cup?
HELP! I have the cricut printable vinyl and after I get it cut I put the transfer tape over it cause it is very detailed. When I put it on the cup and take the transfer tape off of the cup the color comes off with the transfer tape 🥺
Tori Girl you don’t need to use transfer tape for printable vinyl you just peal it like
a sticker
Girl Buy yes I finally figured that out. But it’s kinda hard when the image is very detailed
You can't use transfer tape with anything that uses ink. You just have to do those detailed images very carefully.
How did you get your machine to print out a full page of the flowers?
In design space add a square. Unlock the dimensions and set the size to 6.75x9.25. Send it to the back and whatever you can fit on that template can fit on one page of whatever you are trying to print then cut. Delete the now rectangle before printing.
What kind of printer do you use

Yes

Annabella-Bug they are hers. Part of her membership. I think you can go and buy it too
Which one would you recommend fabric or stickers for the tumbler
Question!!!!? After you print on the vinyl, do you use anything to seal the print? Or will it hold under the epoxy without sealing?
no one answer the help questions 🙄.i spray a layer or 2 of Rust-Oleum triple thick before epoxy to be safe
Do you have to have Inkjet printer for you printable vinyl ?

Love ur tutorials I've learned so much from u but I do have a question do u have to exproxy over ever cup or glass that u use and where can I get some exproxy and a cup turner
kenya Brathwaite printable vinyl doesn’t have to be sealed but it looks better if it is and holds up better.
Ok thank u what about permanent vinyl and where can I get a cup Turner and eproxy
Just don’t do it over clear wine glass, as you’ll definitely notice the flaws, meaning streaks or unevenness. Very hard to get perfect if at all.
Can I do the same process in ceramic mug?🙁
I have a question: Why when I put part A & B and i stir it for 4 minutes slowly like how its shown I get a result that’s clumpy, can you help?
try a warm bath for your epoxy.
Looove learned a new craft .how do u make a cup Turner
How did you get the vinyl to be multi color though?
It’s printable, you need an inkjet printer. Then put it in your Cricut machine or similar to cut them out.
I’m really surprised there was no bleeding after the epoxy was applied since the stickers weren’t sealed. 🤷🏼♀️
Where can I get printable waterslide paper
How beautiful you are and work 👍👍👍
Lots of unanswered questions 😪
Where do you get your straws
Amazing thank you
Nice
😊
What’s a decent alternative to epoxy, for sealing?
Lisa Lee I’ve seen others use Mod podge
Did you find an alternative? I’m using Crystalac for the first time today. Only 2 layers of 8 layers in.
Should have epoxied the cup first
Where did you get those vinyl decals
What type of epoxy is this
NVM answered my own question. :)
I really wish you had know how Ill that epoxy was making you.... I hope you get completely better very soon.....
Nice difference..however the video's kinda awkward being your looking right throughout the video instead of to the camera..just odd is all. 👍
Definitely not supposed to epoxy plastic… -_-
Where can I find these flowers?
