I take 500mg of cranberry gel caps daily. I am a transplant patient and actually developed sepsis from a UTI. I have not had a repeat infection in over a year. Thanks for sharing this research.
thank you - great information - i personally have found the cranberry supplements are helpful - only if caught very early (as is drinking lots of water.). But that is great if it prevents you from needing the antibiotic. Love your book and channel.
The Ocean spray is not very helpful as it has too much sugar. You can get cranberry juice without any sugar and I think it helps. So maybe you should check that out instead of the high sugar juice. I am surprised you even mentioned the Ocean spray unless of course they sponsor you.
No sponsorship at all. 😂 I included that because it is one of the most popular one people drink. It is loaded with sugar. I always recommend diluting it with water to my patients.
Have you tried any of the lower sugar versions - also I always recommend diluting it with water. You can always start small by adding a small amount of water and then increase the amount overtime - that way it will help your tastebuds adapt.
I get organic cranberry concentrate powder from Amazon and mix with mannose powder and acacia powder for 88yo father's stage 3 CKD with recurrent UTI's
@brendad3570 yes but only with the use of the expensive water soluble 36mg PAC cranberry extracts from crancap, thermologix, utiva, ellura. None of the regular cranberry extracts work for UTI as their are too much non-soluble parts that's not well absorbed. Must use PAC cranberry for UTI but expensive! I load up on Amazon prime days.

I just bought the sugar-free ocean spray cranberry juice. My wife winces when she drinks it, but that's life.
I have sugar now can safe to take a cranberry juice
Love cranberry juice but, being pre-diabetic it has too much sugar. I could dilute it with water but, stay away from it all together. It sucks 😢

I’m full diabetic so I drink zero sugar cranberry juice
It can help when the juice is sugarless..
How does cranberry juice help men if any with prostate infections?
I get organic cranberry concentrate powder from Amazon and mix with mannose powder and acacia powder for 88yo father's stage 3 CKD with recurrent UTI's
Good idea on both powders. So this has eliminated use of antibiotics?
