When I was 12, my family took a 3 month road trip from NH to Alaska and back. We loved AK so much, Homer specifically, we bought a place there on the trip! Been going back for almost 2 decades. I’ll never forget that road trip.

Thank you. SOOOO IMPORTANT to teach your children to communicate. Humanity has lost it’s ability to communicate and it leads to alienation. I’ve always loved your channel because you are well rounded and down to Earth. SO many people miss the little things and only concentrate on the big. Although big things are necessary for life it’s the little things that mean the most and have the larger impact. Your girls have grown so much. I remember when they were babies. When I was just a small kid (late 60's), my parents took my brother's out of school and we traveled around the country for 6 months. I was too young to remember everything, but what I do remember was spectacular. Would certainly like to do it again now that I'm older.

DMFD I remember last year when you went to Alaska the series was awesome, I had planned a trip already and went a month after you did. Well about a month ago this Florida boy moved up to Alaska and I'm living my dream. I want to be completely self reliant and live off the grid. My grandfather and his brother used to take a RV from Florida to Alaska but they stopped doing those trips before I was born. I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

Rob, if you ever need new tires on your trailer you should get taller tires. You can see that there is plenty of room for taller tires and with taller ones the hubs don't spin as fast which helps keep the heat down in the hubs. Plus it will raise the trailer up so that it rides level when towing it instead of it riding higher in the front which catches air and it just doesn't tow properly. Hope y'all are having a great time!
I would absolutely love to meet you and Sarah, I am big fans, but I really really want to meet your Mom Betty! I want so much to talk cooking and get that fabulous cornbread dressing recipe among others, I would love to spend a day in the kitchen with her. And...I was born to fish also, never hunted but it has always been on my bucket list, but cooking with Betty is my #1!
