Today I am taking you for a tour of the house, showing you what's new, telling you what I am glad we did and what I regret. Hi Rhi. Excellent video. My eldest daughter (who is 39) would be sooooooo jealous of all your Disney bags she's a massive Disney fan , she can tell a film just by one line from it same with the songs. She's now started on having Disney tattoos. One of her favourite is Lilo and Stitch

If it's anything like my husband. I will probably have to move it myself 🤣 it can be there for weeks untouched yet the second i move it I can guarantee he wants it xx
Our house needs such a sort out! We're possibly going to have to move house into a much smaller place in the next year or so so we need to declutter and organise things big time. I've organised what I can of the kitchen, as in the stuff I know for certain is used and food items etc, but there are a few cupboards (in my house we call them 'the bloody cupboards') that contain exclusively cooking stuff, Tupperware containers etc that I don't use since it's my mum who does most of the cooking. I cannot go through those cupboards, the 'unit' (opaque cupboards and drawers below and glass fronted display cupboards above) and the sideboard in the living room or the garage, shed or 'mouse house' (a second garage at the bottom of the garden that used to have a bit of a rodent problem, we've not seen a Stewart Little in a while but I still won't go near it without giving the door a few good kicks) because I don't know what to get rid of. We have an old computer cupboard in the kitchen that we've wanted rid of for YEARS (there hasn't been a computer on it since 2014) but I store stationary and stuff in there and even though it drives me nuts as I can't organise it the way I need it to be due to the layout, we can't replace it as my mum and I cannot agree on a replacement piece of furniture. My room is pretty okay but I need another under bed storage box since I mistakenly only purchased 2 instead of three when I got the bed, but the boxes I chose (which are kind of a frosted plastic as opposed to clear) were out of Lidl and Lidl have never brought the same ones back in, I'd rather not have to but a different one to go in the middle. The box room is a total disaster but it's one of the places that my mum will need to go through with me as I don't know whether we need an item or not. I'll leave my mum's room to her.
We need a new kitchen and new bathrooms, in addition to a new garage and the 'mouse house' needs knocking down since they're all 22 years old or thereabouts (the kitchen was replaced as crawler me kept trying to pull a Hansel and Gretel with the cooker so my mum insisted upon a separate oven and hob so it would be more child safe) but we're not in the position to do that at present, either financially and due to the fact that we don't know if we're going to have to move. (my parents split up 10 years ago and my dad has only demanded a divorce now. We want to buy the house off him as the house is in his name and he's been the one paying several bills, including the mortgage... but he's ghosting his solicitor so we don't know if he'll even entertain the idea or if he'll want to sell the house and make us move.) There's no point in spending any major money on the house to fix its numerous issues (we're talking way more than 'everything the light touches' here) if we may have to move, but it will be easier to move if we know what we need to get rid of and what we'd leave behind for my dad to contend with (eg our 25 year old tumble dryer, which was placed in the garage along with a second fridge freezer and another tall freezer, before my dad blocked up the 'car door' part. The existing door is not wide enough to get them out so if we're moving, we're leaving them for him to deal with and getting new ones)
Info dump/ rant over, so on another note, what wax melts do you use in the wax burners? We've started using one a lot more recently as opposed to candles/ tealights as our now 8 month old puppy will happily stick her nose in a scalding hot cup of tea and will defiantly stick her nose in a candle if given the opportunity so the tealights and candles we're trying to burn through are limited to the top of the hob. We have a wax burner we're keeping in a 'puppy proof' spot but we can't find a wax melt formula that isn't eye wateringly expensive (looking at you 'Yankee Candle'), won't ruin the wax burner (we're still trying to get the remnants of a red 'Glade' Christmas wax melt out of it) and is of smells we like. We bought 3 of the 'Fabulosa' ones out of B&M ('Rainbow Drops', 'Opulence' and 'Winter Cherry', I don't like the smell of 'Electrify') but my mum doesn't like the smells and we find the wax so unbelievably sticky its a real struggle to replace them. We're working through them but now I'm on the look out for something else.
