you should get the deaf bonce m60A v2 6.5s they are little beasts.. I also have the skars but just upgraded a couple months ago, they play from 100hz to 14khz very cleanly and loud, way outperform the skars though.. but the skars are very good for the price tag for sure man

Notice the bent gain knob? It was off centered. I have a Rockford Fosgate amp that has a bent gain knob. It makes a scratchy sound through my speakers when I adjust it. Surprised that they dont make some kind of caps that goes over the knobs to prevent them from bending over on the bord. Like a tiny ball bearing on each knob for added support. Ive noticed this on several different amplifiers. Just wanted to point this out.
I had the 8604 for 89 days.. I returned it to Walmart and bought the deaf bonce 200.4d, no comparison.. the 8604 has very limited crossover section and it was a deal breaker, the DB is amazingly way more powerful, but not as budget friendly.. but u definitely get what you pay for with DB
I have the Pioneer 8604 too. You cant compare to this Alphard giant amp. The Pioneer unit is definitely less than 1/2 the size of the Alphard unit. You can put it underneath the front seats in any orientation. Plus it is definitely alot less powerful. You have to factor in installation cost too. In the user manual, it is stated that you can use a cheaper 8 AWG battery wire if it is less than 4.5 metres length. For 1/3 the price of the Alphard unit, I cant complain at all. However, there is a new replacement model for the 8604 already, it is the 8704.
+fleur'de' win the 8604 is 1ohm capable and gets some good juice for the price, it's just got no crossover section, my dB 200.4d has subsonic 20hz to 500hz so it's bandpass capable plus the crossover goes to 8khz so u can run active, the pioneer cant.. you would have to run passive crossovers.. I might actually buy another 8604 just because it was such a nice amp with great power. but first I'm in the market for another alternator, thinking about the mechman 320, the 370 is so expensive damn

I thank you for testing amplifiers like these, Korean budget gems. A lot of us have a diffrent definition of budget compared to others, and are willing to pay more for quality. I have the 180.4 from the Apocalypse line, and they are exactly the same. Their layout also looks identical to the Crescendo C1100.4 which has to atleast, be the same board if not the same amplifier, but it's rated at 300×4 at 2 Ohms instead of the 250 that these are rated at, and the Alphard amplifiers also costs about $100 less. I know that it's a Class A/B which won't be as efficient as a Class D but by looking at the efficiency numbers dual inputs might help it get to that 300 that Crescendo rates theirs at. One more thing, sometimes the screen cuts off too quickly to see both the power numbers and the amp draw. I had to rewind a couple times so I could pause it the exact moment both sets of numbers stopped moving before the screen changed. Thanks for all your hard work, and everything that you do. 👍
Its really nice to be able to see exactly what kinda wattage amps are really putting out. Even with reputable companies. Matching speakers with amps true wattage will insure they wont get damaged. (right away anyways) Keep the tests coming. Just discovered my buddy has a pair of Zapco M80s. I just picked up an A/D/S P240 and a couple of Macs, Mc423s. If you get any of this kinda stuff to test, that would be interesting.
I just bought seven d4s s60 mids. So I'm deciding to buy the 180.4 or 201.4. Jp told me the crossfire c7 4k works perfect with them. I figured 300x4 was to much power. He said it's the perfect amp for those mids.

I know it's one of the best 4ch available, so no biggy. I just wanna know if the results are as close to the results sundown got on there dyno video or if there AMPING IT UP SUM..
This amp might be comparable to the skar rp150.5ab but I believe the rp is China, and I'm sure the DB is Korean..
the skar, deaf bonce, and sundown 200.4 are identical pretty much except the dB 200.4 has a crossover section from 10hz to 8khz. The others only go to 5khz.. deaf bonce FTW!!
I had it on the dyno, but something wasnt working right on the dyno..... need to revisit
Those Russians or Koreans are building some good amplifiers
Nice amp
Run some 500 watt tweeters off that bad boy!!!!!!!!!!!
Like Big D Wiz and Steve Meade, great content.
You tested the ass off that amp.
👍
Seriously though, that amp is assless after your egregious testing.
Lol
Thanks for the video. Well over six hundred watts dynamic front and rear, bandpass xovers (how rare and cool is that)
And that kind of build quality in a four channel for under 400 bux?
Dude, that's like a budget McIntosh.
no 200.4?
English in the front, Russian in the back!!
Nice!!!
Test one of those Alphard 38,000 watt amps. :)
What the hell are you gonna put that thing on?...what components or coaxials are gonna take that kind of power?...its senseless!
