Garlic Cheese Bubble Bread
250g all-purpose flour
1½ tsp instant dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic granules/powder/minced
1 tbsp parsley
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk
1 egg, beaten.
3 tbsp butter, melted.
1 cup or more grated cheese
Indonesian
Roti Gelembung Keju Bawang Putih
250g (2 cangkir) tepung serbaguna
1½ sdt ragi kering instan
1 sdm gula pasir
1 sdt garam
1 sdt bawang putih granul/bubuk/cincang
1 sdm peterseli
125ml (1/2 cangkir) susu hangat
1 butir telur, kocok.
3 sdm mentega, lelehkan.
1 cangkir atau lebih keju parut

Tip: when you leave it 60-90 min make sure to do it on a warm place so the yeast can work better. One thing you can do is put your oven at a low temperature, turn it off and put the dough inside with the residual heat

Yes, I turned on the oven at 200F, when it is ready, I turned it off and put the dough there for 60 mins. It is really fluffy that way :)
I put the microwave safe mixing bowl in the microwave covered with a towel and turn on the microwave for 30 seconds and when it stops just leave it in there for an hour or two VOILA!!

Thank you, you can use pumpkin puree or plain yogurt
If you're not in a hurry and want an evenly sized roll, I would weigh the whole dough and divide them so each roll weighs more or less the same

I tried to make this… but unfortunately for 2 cups of flour 1/2 cup of milk is not enough.. to get same consitensy I had to a full cup of milk.. and the bread still turned out hard … 😕

Thanks for this recipe. How would I reheat later the same day as taking it to a party.
You can reheat it in the preheated oven until just warm and soft. Or in the microwave for 30 seconds or until just warm. Microwave too long will make them get harden

This is beautiful and perfect! Just the right size and texture I am looking for. I already have a 1hr roll recipe. I just need to see how to add the cheese and seal the rolls. However your recipe looks nice too! Delicate and soft with a little bounce. If it isn't longer than 1hr. I just might use your recipe tonight! 🙂

@@NinikBeckerEatLover The cheese is fine! I been trying to make cheese stuffed garlic rolls. However the ones I previously made the recipe said cut the cheese into 1inch cubes. I did that and the rolls came out fluffy and big. So the cheese got lost in the bread basically! 😅 Instead of being cheesy. The cheese was like a hidden surprise and so tiny compared to the rolls. 😭

There is no way these measurements are accurate, i did everything exactly and there was not nearly enough liquid.
The flour measurement for 1 cup = 125 g. Two cups = 250 g.
Milk, egg and butter. The liquid will make a sticky dough like in the Video.
But not everybody can followed the recipe.

So if you use 2 cups = 250g.
The dough will not have enough liquid when using more than 250g of flour.
Many people only use cups which is caused inaccurate. 😊

1. Setelah adonan siap, tutup dan simpan di kulkas over night. The next day baru shaping dan seterusnya.
2. Di shaping dulu, lalu simpan di freezer. Jika mau baking, keluarkan di room Temperature utk proofing lagi.
Time is too important when you make something related to bread because flour dough needs fermentation. That is why I like your video as follows:
1) Let the big dough rest for 60-90 minutes;
2) Leave enough space between small dough;
3) Let the small dough rest for 30 minutes

For the dough, you can use ground flaxseeds. For the egg wash you can use milk, but the appearance won't be glossy

Thank you! Yes you can make ahead the dough. make sure to do the 2nd proof before baking. To keep soft, store in airtight container or plastic bag.

Hey! New here and to baking! I’m not sure if I just didn’t follow directions or what 😅, but mine did not come out good 😔.
My portion didn’t look nearly as big which I was not able to make 24 balls. Then when I got to the 90mins it was super sticky. Maybe I put too much milk? Then at the end it was not finished in 25 mins of baking. 😢
I look forward to making it again.

Ninik, I think there is a mistake. 250 g aren't 2 cups. 1 cup = 250g. So how much flour do we need here ? 250g or 500g? I'm a bit confused now and I want to make this delicious bread. Please help💕

I understand a cup measurement is indeed confusing. I suggest using a kitchen scale if possible. 💖
@@NinikBeckerEatLover I finally made the bubble bread and it turned out really amazing. So cheesey 😉 I used 2 cups of flour but my dough was different, very easy to knead. Next time I just use the kitchen scale as u said 😊 but definitely I will bake the bread again. I have already tried lots of ur recipes and they literally never disappoint. Thank u for ur answer 💕
