Quiz Show is a great movie and it doesn't seem to get mentioned a lot in present-day film discussion. I think people are afraid it will be boring. Ralph Fiennes and John Turturro both give amazing performances.
Perfect ranking! I've never seen "Quiz Show" or "Four Weddings and a Funeral." "Pulp Fiction," "Ed Wood," and "The Lion King" are my favorite films of 1994. However, I can't deny that "The Shawshank Redemption" was the right contender for Best Picture. Also, how was Frank Darabont not nominated for Best Director?
@@kgstudiofilms Highly recommend checking out Quiz Show! I would have switched out Four Weddings and a Funeral for Ed Wood. I think Darabont didn’t get nominated because of the lack of director support. I say that because it happened when he directed The Green Mile too.
1. Pulp Fiction 2. The Shawshank Redemption 3. Forrest Gump 4. Quiz Show 5. Four Weddings and a Funeral I'm still on team "pro-Gump", but there is no way it should have won best picture over two masterpieces. Pulp Fiction is one of my all time favorite movies. The Madness of King George should have been nominated.
