So do I 🙂 - and I don’t think that E powered speedwaybikes will replace the methanol one’s in near future. But I guess the Espeedway bikes will be a additional option and will have another audience. Just like petrol powered Fomula 1 and gaming Formula 1 has different followers/audience 🙂
@@simonbradshaw3993 I liked the sound and smell of the engines right from my start to. But trying the Espeedway bike made me realize they are a great supplement to the petrol/gas powered. I think the future will have both 🙂
Electric motor bikes while new and totally different from what we are accustomed too will run like a scalded cat. Maybe they could include a sound system mimicking a big bore two stroke motocrosser. The best sounding bikes ever. 😊
It always amazes me when race is over and riders remove helmets how young they are. Speedway gets your dollars worth. You see a great race and a good fight after.
I started going to Speedway races in Southern California somewhere around 1970. Not only were they running nitro, they were unmuffled. Going from nitro to alcohol took away some of the excitement, muffling took away a good portion of what was left. Going electric will finish the job. There's a good reason I follow Formula 1 instead of Formula E. It's not about how fast it goes, or how much coal it burns.
If it goes to riding electric speedway bikes, speedway will be finished, speedway is about raw power, the smell the noise, even now when bikes come up to the tapes, they sound like a 50cc, if speedway eventually goes down this route, the crowds won't be there in my opinion, and I am a neigbour of former speedway rider garry stead, and the privilege of going to meetings with garry all over the country, from the Isle of Wight to Edinburgh and made lots of friends, keep that raw power noise and smell, that's my view.
Sooner or later this will happen. Speedway is almost dead anyway. I'm from king's Lynn and have been watching from being a kid ( I'm 40 now). if when the death of fossil fuel comes this saves the sport I love then I'm in.
The only factor I can see is the absence of the engine sound which helps the rider know where in the power and the engine is. But the instant power of electric is hard to beat.
no thanks…the 500cc methanol burning motor is the reason a speedway rider rides…you need to have that connection with your motor and clutch…not to mention the smells and sounds of it…
E-cyklen er rigtig fed ⚡️ Jeg er igang med en video om min 85cc cykel - jeg tror den kommer ud i løbet af vinteren 🙂 Så abonner hvis du ikke allerede gør det så får du besked når der er nye videoer👍
World rallyX has gone full electric and the crowds have increased. If speedway goes full electric in a few years it could be a saviour for the sport in the UK. Noise is one reason tracks are closing. If they get it right it could bring in a bigger crowd and more sponsors. Progress can't be held back just because some old guys like the noise and smell.
What a load of crap this development(?) hastens the demise of Speedway as a sport for true fans. Ivan Mauger will be turning in his grave. RIP Speedway
I hope so that normal speedway engines (powered by metanol) will be still no 1.

@@carltommerupracing That's right. Greetengs from Poland😀
@@carltommerupracing I hope not it's the roar of the engines and the smell of the oil that got me hooked as a kid here in England ♣️🏁

@@carltommerupracing But, as in Formula racing, only one will draw crowds.
Good way to start and a very good demonstration on riding an e bike
I hope this young guy becomes a star of the future in this wonderful sport

This is the death of speedway. Noise and smell is what makes it!
Good stuff.
Thanks 😊
Great video ❤
Likewise 🤙

@@johnferguson40 Excuse me, sir, your immaturity is showing. Maybe you should go in the corner and play with your electric minibike.

They don't run on fossil fuels though.
Yes but that won't stop them getting band.
Just preempting the inevitable reply lol
Speedway without the methanol smell is like a good schnitzel with no seasoning
Where can I buy this Kit for my Bike?
E-Speedway by E-Racing - write to company owner michelriis@gmail.com - he can help you 💪🙂

Please keep metanol !!!!!!
As good as the Jawa is, it's days are numbered. What is to dislike about more power?
The sound and the smell
Absolutely crap it will not replace my Jawa 500
Agree dude 👍
