OH Ms. Dyan will you make a booklet with a mixed paper style? That would be the best, example, some black papers, some blank, some grid, some handwriting, sand some dots?

I feel a little silly. I'm new to your videos and it took me two to realize who your were. I've seen your products but don't own any-sorry to say. I have been tempted many times but there are just so many great things to buy. Anyway, I love seeing your journals and would love to see a step by step of the other page. I'm always interested in people's creative thought processes. I think that's because I'm scared to start my own. I think the coolest tip I picked up was that you put your sprays into waterbrush pens and use them to color with. I found that a very innovative use for the sprays. I may have to buy a lot more of those pens lol. Thanks for all the ideas.

I love love these travel dyalogs, and especially the no limits cover, I have decorated the front and inside front, now I have two more to do, inside and outside of back cover. Thanks @Dyan Reaveley for creating durable pages and a system that works and keeps everything toghether. I love how the stencils fit into the book as well. The cover is perfect to fit everything!!!!

System was already invented in Japan/ somewhere she mentioned. She just made a smaller version with elastic bands n put her own touch n got away with it- not a bad thing.
Love you creativity. Why don’t you create a book around poetry. I write a lot of poetry and it would be fun to see a book designed with that as a theme.

I’m just starting to “build” my Dyalog. I bought a couple of the booklets and the elastic bands online. Now I just have to find a store that has the white cover in stock after I get paid this Wednesday. I’m also going to order all of the stencils. I always loved my old Jane Davenport TN stencils. The way they fold like a book, slip through the bands with your books and pocket folders, so you can bring them everywhere with you, was always so awesome! It’ll be so cool to have some in Dyan Reavely’s style! I also love that Dyan made her cover bigger than the standard TN cover so you can fit more books in it! Genius! Thank you, Dyan!

Love this line! 😍 Question: what paint can be used for the no limits cover, and do you mod pod or protect it at all?
Andi. Plans you’re going to need an acrylic like Dyan’s Dylusions paints in the jars. And since it’s going to handled a lot (unlike a wall hanging), sealing it with something like Ranger’s Multi Medium Matte for a flat finish or Ranger’s Multi Medium Gloss for a slick and shiny surface, would protect it for years of enjoyment.

Hello Lisa! Dyan's covers are designed to fit her Dyalogs and unfortunately will not fit on the hard cover journals. Hope this helps.

But what do you actually DO with these “ books” when you finished doodling or writing ✍️ in it ???? As beautiful as they are it eventually becomes clutter right?
People keep them and relook through them for years... Journals, art books, diaries... I don't get it either really. I make journals but I'm not a journaler! How people use one journal per month or have 4 or 5 on the go at once I just don't understand. What are they writing? How much stuff are they writing? I love making books, but I'm at a loss as to how many journals people actual use. I find it quite astounding and a bit of a mystery!
autumn roberts art journaling is suppose to a form of therapy a lot of life coaches and psychologists recommend for people with depression/ anxiety issues. Lol, I suppose you’re right though, clutter is the price 😂😂
@@Mariah_the_scientist yeah ART journals make sense... Me making things, crafting, is very much my therapy! Totally agree with that! It's just the writer's journals that confuse me, not buying one and writing on and off over 6 months or a year, or doing a smaller one for memories of what you did on holiday... But some people on here have about 5-6 journals on the go ALL AT ONCE! They can easily fill 200 pages in a month! I'm like whoah!!! I just think if you have that much to say, get paid for it! Write a blog or start a talking about life channel on RUclips! If what you're writing is fantasy stuff, write a book and get it published! JK Rowling started with some scribbled notes on a train journey to Scotland... Look how that worked out! Best selling author EVER!!! ANYWHERE!!! Even outsold published bibles! And I have to say, I'm just ever so slightly proud she's a) a female, and b) English! 😁
I'm not knocking anyone for it though! I'm just explaining the way my mind tries to understand what on earth someone can be writing in such a short space of time? It baffles me! Here's my journal entry (example, I don't personally use journals...this should explain why! 😂😂😂)

Day 1: got up, put on PJ's, spent an hour or so in the bathroom due to my Crohn's disease. Always most painful in the morning. Hubby made me a latte and dished up my morning pills, all 25 of them! No joke! But hey! They do say breakfast is the most important meal! I sat on the bed watching RUclips videos, mostly crafting ones. I do that and rest a while so my pills can kick in. Smoked 2 cigarettes and asked hubby for another latte please! Gradually felt the cramps ease in my tummy, with Crohn's and endometriosis and gallstones and polyps in there, I'm never quite sure which is causing the pain! Had a good stretch as i felt the pain and stiffness ease off from the rest of my body, caused by fibromyalgia and spinal disc degeneration. Also felt a bit more relaxed and calmer as my depression and morning snappiness faded somewhat! Grabbed some papers, glues, tools and embellishments and sat doing crafting whilst continuing watching you tube and catching up on tv shows I'd missed. In between smoking another couple of fags in the bathroom. Hubby gave up smoking, so i smoke in there if the weather's shite! Went back to bed as daytime sleepiness enveloped me, passed out so fast and deeply, woke up 4 hours later! Had my late afternoon set of pills, mostly painkillers. Cuddled the dog for a while. Played some games on my tablet. Thought about grabbing a better life by the balls and not letting go... The thought alone exhausted me, so that was the end of that moment of escapism! Had dinner and watched tv with hubby and the dog. And after a few hours we went to bed! Nunnight!
Day 2: " see above ^^^
Day 3: ^^^ ditto!
Day 4: day four...? Is it? Already? Where did days two and three go? Oh well, they all blur into one anyway! Good job I can check the date online cos I'd never know otherwise! So yeah, anyway, what was i saying....oh yeah! Today's thrilling titbit is a full on repeat of yesterday! Or might have been the day before...?
Day 5: Hmmm not sure journaling is for me... Got sod all to journal! Can't see people buying copies of this in 100 years! Not exactly Edith Holden am I? Can't even be arsed to add a doodle here and there....
Day 12: wtf? What happened there? I thought I missed a day or two, but a whole week??? Well they say time flies when you're having fun! Boredom, depression and brain fog are a pretty good alternative too, if fun is thin on the ground...
Day 15: honestly, this is a waste of beautiful papers and lace! I put so much effort in making this thing, but have ZILCH to write about! Anyone else depressed now? I know I am? Hmm maybe i could gesso and collage over the 2 measly pages I've filled, and no one will be any the wiser! It'll look new again! Yeah!!! YEAH! Most exciting thought I've had in the last fortnight! Ok let's get covering these pages!

Lol! 😂 I totally do see what your saying. Back in high school I used to write what I did that day in the journal entry and who would come over my house and hang out for an example LOL pretty much anything I could record/document. I even used to write wether or not me and my boyfriend hooked up that night or not 😂 also I’m a fan of quotes like dyan. Although now that I’m busy without that much time, I can’t imagine keeping one like you are referring too. I guess with anyone with that exciting of a life we should all be jealous 😂 my dad is always making fun of me about my planner (my bullet journal) saying ohh all your big PLANs. Lol 😂 sadly he is right.
I know I’m 11 months later. Just wanted to contribute why I do these. I have a 9 yr old. Only child. I do these journals because when I’m gone she’ll have them. Already she enjoyed looking through the ones I’ve already made. Some I make JUST for her. Some I do for for fun. I do enjoy making them, immensely. I hope this helps a bit.
I love these books and covers it makes me so happy looking at them . I bought myself a few of them they are made very well and I love that the outside and the inside are both decorated. Definitely worth buying.

today, my postal package from supra bazar came, and it included a 125 pieces yellow/brown paper of 160 gsm! perfect for writing and journalling!so, perhaps, tomorrow morning, very early again, i will make inserts for my standard sized TN! Just today, I made one of your dolls, and put it in my DIY TN which a lil bigger than the standard one! I enjoyed it! I did it with "watercolours"! And, perhaps, tonite, or tomorrow morning, I will receive the large journalling book that I purchased from Holland, yesterday!!!I am so happy I purchased it! It's only 24 euros! And such a large one! Perfect for journalling and keeping "designs"! Thanks for making them! I will purchase some of your products, in addition to the ones I just purchased, yesterday! I'm a happy person! Love, love, love the Dyalog system. The sturdy cardstock is much appreciated. I actually dug out one of my Dylusions stencils and started doodling while watching this. The only insert I don't see myself getting much use out of is the agenda, as I prefer a vertical layout to horizontal...but that's where those lovely blank, dot, and grid inserts can be anything I want.
