  • If you have intense cramps during pregnancy you aren't alone! I had severe cramping during my first trimester, along with some other early pregnancy symptoms I wasn't expecting. They were scary at first, but the more research I did they were more common than I realized. I had so many questions pregnancy questions that I had never thought to consider, like can you take a bath while pregnant? I had mild nausea, which I expected, but there were so many things I just didn't know and a lot was trial and error. Here's a bit of my first trimester pregnancy journey and what has helped me!

Did you experience cramps during pregnancy or any of these other symptoms? Was there anything that helped you?

I've been following your channel since your diagnoses. This video on pregnancy symptoms you've experienced popped up in my feed so decided to view it while having my morning coffee. When you were discussing your 2nd trimester symptoms which included nose bleeds, a swollen eye and face on one side plus being unable to breathe through your nose all that well, it's so sad to think now looking back it wasn't pregnancy symptoms but rather cancer. I'm so sorry this happened to you! I look forward to your videos each time you upload to see how you're doing.

Yes I am looking back over her videos. What a lovely brave woman she is at RUclips. Those face symptoms are not typical pregnancy and I’m annoyed with medical for not investigating more quickly.

I'm 3 months pregnant and I've started cramping like crazy.... I thought I was going through my third miscarriage 😔 turns out it's apparently normal 😅 once I start cramping I have to sit or lay down or they just get worse 🙃 I'm so sorry you're going through them too.. I'm so traumatized from the late miscarriages that I still can't help but hold my breath everytime I use the bathroom 😰

Oh my goodness! I bet that is incredibly scary to be having them so late after the miscarriages. I am so sorry you had to go through that, but so glad to hear that they have said that's normal and that baby is doing well. Pregnancy is such a weird and scary time, and I am sure even more so for you now. Sending good vibes your way! You've got this mama!! I know that bathroom feeling, checking to make sure everything is ok. Worry about cramping too hard or sneezing wrong. When is your due date? I just entered my third trimester.

Yep the cramps are as bad as miscarriage cramps it’s insane. So scary.
Definitely not normal for me as I’ve had a few pregnancies. It sucks.

I only 'met' you , in your video where you explained about your cancer. Having only seen you in these 2 videos, sadly, the swelling and shape change around your eye orbit , and cheek bone area,( I'm a Midwife) is obvious to see. For anyone watching this, NOSEBLEEDS AND FACIAL SWELLING ARE NOT NORMAL PREGNANCY RELATED SYMPTOMS. EVER!!! I'm so sorry it wasn't diagnosed so much sooner , for you Praying for you and your family.

ooh! You are waiting until birth to find out the gender! That is so fun! We had two girls (did gender reveals) and then waited until birth for the 3rd one and it was a boy!

@@melaniefostersnavely and so many things you can get gender neutral. All we had to do was get new (used) clothes and shoes. Thrift stores are great for sheets and boppy covers, so don't spend a fortune on those.

@@RebekahFOnlineTeaching Thank you!! Yes, we prefer more gender neutral colors anyways so it's been helpful to keep things from going overly blue or overly pink. I am all about used over here as well. It horrifies my nieces lol. I don't think I have bought a single item of clothing other than bathing suits that weren't thrifted (or gifted from friends) in I probably couldn't even tell you when. Trying to get as much second hand as possible and really trying to be minimalistic as much as we can

I found out I was pregnant at7weeks as it was a very unplanned pregnancy and I was at my Dr's for an unrelated issue and I happened to say that I hadn't had my period and she gave me a urinalysis pot which I took in the next day which was a Friday and a week lateron the Thursday I was again at my Dr's but seeing a different Dr amd I hadn't even closed the door to the Dr's room amd she just blurted put that I was pregnant and I was floored as at the time it was the last thing I wanted or expected. For some reason I would get the worst intense nausea at the same time6:05am every single morning for a good6weeks. At17&1/2 weeks I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach and at19&3/4 weeks I felt my baby move which I thought was the best thing ever but little did I know that my baby literally kicked, thumped and headbutted me constantly for the remainder of the pregnancy. It started and ended at the same time every day which was so weird to me. It would start at4:05am with violent kicks and thumps and headbutts as each kick, punch and headbutt were just so obvious to me. At first I loved it but then it became constant and literally never stopped.I was woken at dead on4:05 every morning and it went on all day with kicking, punching and headbuttingIt would finally stop at1:05the next morning and I would try and sleep but would be woken at4:05 with a violent kick, then a thump and then a headbutt. This routine would last until the birth.At9weeks I started bleeding very heavily and immediately went to my Dr's who sent me to hospital where I was placed on complete bed rest and for the first few days wasn't even allowed to walk to the bathroom.I was in agony with stomach cramps and thefirst two nights in the hospital I was literally in agony with horrendous cramping in my stomach and the Dr was coming to see me every hour and at4am I was given Pethidine to ease the pain as the Dr said he literally couldn't bear to watch the amount of pain that I was obviously in.The second night in I was the same and I heard him talking to the staff on the ward saying something about taking me to the operating room for a D&C as he could see that the pain was horrendous. He said he would come back after another shot of Pethidine but if anything changed he wanted to be contacted immediately. He literally came to see me every 45minutes.I think now with the blood I was losing and the clots and the amount of severe pain I was experiencing that I may have been carrying twins and sadly one of the twins sadly didn't survive. The pain I was in was so similar to actual labour pains. When my miracle baby was born she rarely slept and wouldn't nap in the day and would only go to sleep laying on me but no one else. The same Dr who looked after me during my pregnancy ended up doing his peadriatic rotation when my daughter was4months old and had been admitted to the hospital with Bronchiolitus which she got3times in the first year of her life which is horrible illness to eatch your baby go through with the fevers and the breathing treatments.
