I'm usually not one to nitpick, and I'm definitely not the kind of person who upgrades to every new console / new piece of tech, but seriously, the controllers still take batteries in 2013? What's up with that?
the wiimotes also took batteries as well as rechargable ones. they will probably release a seperate set of rechargable batteries later on.
The difference is the Wii came out in 2006.

in xbox's defense they're controllers can have their batteries switched out where as playstations can't, but it's is true that playstations controller chargers are pretty easy to get, you don't even use a controller charger, my mom charges it with a phone charger, plugged into the wall

I never realised how ugly the ps4 looks, the xbox looks alot better imo even if it is a big chunky slab, I wonder what the slimmer versions will look like. Also, the xbox controller didn't need changing, it's amazingly comfortable compared to ps controllers, the dualshock 4 is a big improvement though

A console built around the principle of not needing to compete, so they can go the Microsoft route and charge you for everything that would've been free, and put in little effort, as they know they've got no challenge from Nintendo when it comes to targeting the gamers who are too afraid to touch a game with colours in it.
