- In this interesting ASMR video I go through an ASMR Flag Quiz while telling you some facts about the countries to help you sleep. I don't proclaim to know everything, so please add any facts and corrections in the comments section! I hope you enjoy the video!
DESCRIPTION
The video is calming and relaxing, hopefully helping you with sleep problems and insomnia. I am speaking in a male deep voice with a Welsh accent and switch between soft spoken and whisper voice.

Im from Canada, and way you said Iraq gave me a laugh, the american accent was so spot on. Glad i learned how iraq is supposed to be prenounced! Great video btw I love learning this stuff

Fun factoid: Then-president George W Bush purposely pronounced it that way to upset the Iraqis after 9/11... a real psy-ops master

I got almost all of them i got uraguay wrong i said argentina 😭!! I have a question, have you ever thought about describing the flags for it to be a bit harder or for people to fall alseep to guessing? I think it would be interesting

So as a geography buff (self-proclaimed of course lol) this was VERY enlightening.
In fact a few weeks ago I took a random world flag quiz and BOOMED. I was quickly reminded of what my dad asked me as a kid when I would ACE the US Geography (especially the state capitals) on Jeopardy or in my US History class, he'd say: "What about world geography and the country capitals?". So as overwhelming as that is, at the age of 33 I'm still on a mission to master the country flags and the country capitals lol. N you are a lot of help + it's relaxing so 10/10 😉. New subscriber !!!

Vexillology ASMR for the win! Happy to say I knew all the flags AND learned an interesting fact, that Ecuador is the Spanish word for equator. Very cool. I can't wait to drop that into a conversation when the opportunity arises. Interesting that Ecuador is one of the few countries that is part of both the northern and southern hemisphere. This is quite fun and funny for me because thanks to match-two memory games with flags in my childhood, I got some of the ones you label tricky immediately (especially the dragon: no way I will ever forget something like that learned at an early age!), and struggled with some of those you say we might know. 😅 Pretty good refresher!

İ have a cousin who is 6 year old and he knows every single flag. He even knows the world map completely. You can ask him a random country and he'll show you where it is. And he learned it all bu himself😭 he loves watching war/history videos on yt and they have world map in their house hanging on the wall. Thats his only resources...

I didn’t know until reading in a flag book about the history of the cross (and obviously its place on many flags) that the symbol of Christianity was a fish until at least 326 AD
