I actually really liked the Sandman character. Sure, he wasn't a technical wrestler like at all. But he was a badass that had character. Something that is missing from today's WWE shows. The one guy who has similar attributes, but who can actually wrestle is Jon Moxley of AEW.

Sandman had a more sadistic vibe and was his own but ambrose on the other hand is an all out brawler who reminds me of multiple wrestlers. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brian Pillman, Sandman, Mick Foley, and Jon Heidenreich all combined into one.

Enter Sandman's obviously a legendary song but I don't really consider it a better entrance theme since the lyrics have basically no relation at all to him character-wise aside from his name. Quicksand while definitely a bit more generic but fits his gimmick and personality WAY better imo, as well as being just as much of a banger as Enter Sandman was.
I recently bought a sandman shirt cut the sleeves like his and even got a kendo stick and some bear and smokes and I wear the outfit at partys with this theme
