Fauna has been a very good leader for EN for a while now. One couldn't guess such a soft spoken person to usually lead the charge to battle.
Fr tho
Salty DOTA player in her find the spot to shine)
@@GerriFuryman Totally, her inner DoTA clawed it's way through lmao.
Soft-spoken, but backed up by previous Moba knowledge. DotA2 supports tend to be the one giving the call outs.
@@jayzenstylecuz support have the most down time to think what exactly happening in the map
While 1 focus on finding safe farm, 2 looking for play or farm, 3 just do what muscle brain do best being muscle head
XD
It's pretty impressive that EN didn't tilt after the 1st game. They analyzed where they went wrong and made sure they fixed it next game.
Calli realized she didn't farm enough to be relevant late game, so she focused farming the next game. They also made sure to save all their ults for rayquaza
Reasons to love Hololive are many. But when you have three branches, all having fun, cheering for the other players when you are sitting out, and every branch get recognized for their hard work. True sportsman ship.
Go Hololive!
Always love it when everyone is having fun!!
@Bebek-24434 While a certain other Company is taking L's with graduations
@Bebek-24434 poor Selen she got got shafted
Any colour and they chose black
@Bebek-24434N was supposed to have more inter-branch interaction. They have their minecraft World server way before Hololive, and their JP branch often has events that include other branches too, but now yea, it's just sad.
EN is so insane they manage to be both 2nd and 3rd XD
A-chan did nothing wrong, you can spell Indonesia as Endonesia too
Endonesia 😂

Props to EN, we all thought they would get completely swept away but they managed to force a three way tie and take it to points scoring.
I didn't expect such hype matches!
All According to Matsuri's Plan
they really pretty good frfr
@@baguetteboi8137 JP got Ray though, it the ID match that the EN took down Ray.
Fr I was pleasantly surprised by EN’s performance given the fact that so many of them are new/inexperienced with the game
@@baguetteboi8137you're completely downplaying it. They didn't get swept, and the points show it. They played defensively and had to contend with ID having seen them play. If they got swept, Rayquaza wouldn't have mattered like it did.
Kaela running around like a Final Boss from Elden ring while the JP and EN girls being scared. xD
Idk, from my 5000 hours on dota2 and watching her play
Its more like overconfident, enemy clearly can kill her and her pokemon seems like the type of squishy hogh damage
She should hide and wait the timing to jump enemy squishy pokemon not dashing in and almost get kill all the time
She trash tho,too confident literally the worst point in every match, common problem for ex pro player they think they too strong
@@billm1238 Dont take it too serious bro
Its just a fun tournament and everyone enjoy it
how about not playing so seriously
@@RuRu0091bruh its all scripted, why u mad 😂
I watched ame's perspective, the game is basically unplayable because of the lag. If a SEA server dota player like me was in her shoes they would've raged but she handled it like a boss!
Fauna's positive coaching is sooo gooood you'd feel proud of yourself too!
Ngl this is best result for everyone, every teams got their victory and defeat balancely, no pressure, happy ending, happy game.
I love that they host tournaments like this, it's so fun watching everyone teaming up, and the matches were all so close too! Glad that Hololive and Pokemon got to collab just in time for the Pokemon World Championships in Yokohama, Japan this weekend! (^o^)
Yeahh I know right, evryone giving their best, it's so entertaining to watch. Also there is HoloID Cup waiting for us in a couple days wohoo

EN won against ID

Fauna's calm play calling is beautiful to watch. you can tell she's an experienced moba player.
I'm surprised she didn't go full malding given her Dota background. It happened once with the Minecraft ender dragon Collab xD she malds so cute
@@jayzenstylexD i dont think support player can go malding, the most role i expect to mald in dota is mid and offlane
True support player usually very kind, unless they just play supp for role q
@@jayzenstyle maybe because the match is short.
She got tilted in that mincraft collab is because her team was doing nothing and myth helped them with the briged back then.
@@santiagomoralesgarcia1802 now that makes sense. Long duration dota games does bring the worst in people
@@RuRu0091 makes sense, though I played the game back when it was DotA1 so, I already met malding support players along the way xD. We can be toxic too, just for different reasons(carry not doing their job very well, not listening to the call outs, etc.)
So, EN was the defensive team, JP the technical/coordination team, and ID the aggro team? EN edged out by JP's long term strategy, JP eventually succumbed to ID pressure, and in the end ID couldn't crack EN's defense. Right?
Yes, although you can say JP is the most all rounder team.
en and id is aggresive, jp is defensive team.
Im still surprised that they say ID lacked of practice, they said Reine only practice 2 days before match.
While Anya only got 4?
Yet they already goes this far.
aggro? aggro has a very different meaning from aggresive lol
@@wakuwaku6647 aggro. short for aggression or aggravation. dont be weird.
GG to everyone who did awesome in the Pokemon Unite Tournament!!
Ollie and Reine were totally the coolest MVPs of the year,
Calli is pushing the boundaries of carrying the tournament,
And Pekora leading 1st place in the tournament,
Man, this can't get any better than this!
Edit: There! You happy?
Now leave me alone and bother somewhere else,
Kaela did her best despite her mistakes, Ollie and Reine WERE the real MVPs

@@annacme-fs5gs Ooooh, you got a point there.
Unfortunate for the EN team. If they managed to take down Ray in the first game, they could've won. Among all the groups, I was mostly surprised by how good the EN team played. I really thought they'd be crushed, but they put up an amazing performance.
the EN team was the only team without a healer it seems that they had not researched anything about the game and yet they were able to win the second and they almost won the first game too
That goes for id too & also for jp too..
If id take down ray in the second game, and jp take down ray in the 3rd game, they could've won.
So what?
@@BoluPisangg All 3 teams are surprisingly close. Ray was the deciding factor.
The first match for EN was Brutal with difference being EN Need More Than 100 score to win against JP and it's not even close. In the end at least they all have fun and that's what matter the most in these event 🍷

I think she meant they didn't need to start and just zone the ID team out of the pit.
Yeah, the 2 JP mems were focused on killing Ray while the other 3 splits into the sides and get picked off. If they focused on ID they’d won
@@JaswiL-_51 yep they should've focused on killing ID team. not helping them kill the Ray
JP type Grass - A lot of sneaking, ambushes and hiding in the tall Grass
EN type Water - Very careful but with a solid defense
ID type Fire - well Coordinated and super aggressiv
This was like a Battle of Starter Pokemon with every Team getting a win. Can´t have imagined a more exciting Tournament.
yes , i will said EN have good defense.. if only they can take Rayquaza... EN can win ...
This was a fantastic tournament, it really brought my love for this game back from the depths. Loved seeing all the girls compete! Excellent job putting together the clip.
Hahaha. Then it'll disappear again what the heck, the devs just don't freaking know what they're doing xD. That streak of Zacian, Comfey, Lapras, and Urshifu releases is just 🗿👌
@@Sei003they released Mewtwo just a few weeks ago, and Mewtwo + Comfey combo just broke ranked match. Now we'll see if devs will actually nerf their mascot legendary lmao
@@kanzaki2672 Don't expect them to do so. Remember Zacian? How many months did it take them to nerf that dog? I wouldn't be surprised if they let things play out like that some more. Even Ame and Reine didnt get winner MVP they giving crucial factors that make their own team won
The real MVP is always that small moments.
That Reine killing foob is the only reason Id win
Reine have a big impact for epic comback but why ollie get the mpv because of stealing rayquaza and have a lot off score
This and then id fans saying kaela Carried when she the worst because too overconfident

The ID's team choice is a damn meta for real! Slowbro and Eldegoss for Supp and Tank while the main damage are Ollie's 9tails and Reine's Inteleon and lastly Kaela's game-breaking Zoroark! Props to the EN and JP as well for locking on Kaela real good..

Man GG to all of them, they put their all.

U have to know ID had bad ping even EN and sometimes anya cant roam or open war and kaela have to initiate to open war as a melee attacker. I think playing using switch for ID girl is kinda hard tho they are new not pro player. They play PokeUnite very well all mem. U have to watch from their channel not from clipper only lmao..
I'm so proud of my EN girls they really gave their best and made such an epic battle against JP/ID!!! Even winning against ID! Amazing coordination too! 🥰
Also watching this I realize Kaela directing and giving orders it's so cool and scary lol she's awesome!
Hololive should do this frequently, this is so fun
They are on it.. Ive heard from the management they try to revive the purpose of hololive gamers.. Which recently korone is starting joining Street Fighter Tournaments.. Meanwhile StartEnd Aqu Sui Towa focusing on their appex.. And the management now try to do as much as they can to held many tournament of variant games to find competitive talents..hope they will able to participates many international tournaments games to get more sponsorship for their development..
@@R_Gantria_Surya_Kusumahmore pokemon unite tho (more complicated but still), mobas are so really good to watch too
EN actually had a REALLY good team comp as you can see from their two matches. Plus the fact that they were communicating quite well reporting the status of objectives and such. Fauna had really good calls and the way they were able to to turn around the ID game was amazing.
All in all super proud of the EN team and I'm happy they had matches that they could be proud of.
EN defied the expectations of most. Personally I did not write them off, since it will boil down to which team has the better team work. And the EN girls listened to Fauna well this time.
Fauna ability to keep calm in the middle of chaos and made the correct call are awesome, the JP move as absolute unit and objective focus, ID are aggresive and fearless, both EN and ID are handicapped by high ping latency but each able to score the win
Idk about chaos, but u should watch dota2 team fight
Iam 2 bracket from fauna (iam legend and fauna said she was divine) and i watching it like it was play in slow motion compare to dota
In summary, it's a three way deadlock like rock - paper - scissors.
But kudos to EN, despite having major disadvantages in terms of experience in MOBA, be able to beat the majorly experienced line up of ID.
And ID with that late game clutch, DAMNNNN. The SEA gamer spirit suddenly possessed them and they just went full send on JP.
And of course, as expected, JP is the powerhouse since their line up is basically having big rank players.
WE WANT MORE!
Kaela shouting orders and the GOGOGO into a teamfight reminded me so much of my old Dota days... man, this tournament was awesome, I hope they can do more of these!
That was so good man everyone did great had some intense moments that had me on the edge of my seat not gonna lie hope they have more competitions like this 😊
The matches were so balanced between each other that they show sportsmanship and then cheering for each other. Why is everybody so adorable?!!
Kaela's call is on point. This is showing how good at MOBA she is. And also you have to commend fauna also. And pekora deserves that MVP. Look at how good her spacing is when going on a clash. She know her role really well
Kaela: *vibing*
EN & JP: omg scary
Fauna is the only one in EN who never afraid of Kaela or at least never speak of it in the match, everyone scream for their life just a glance of her lol
@@vtt03obviously, because she played DotA2 before. You get used to facing terrible odds when playing a Moba game without a surrender option.
Ahaha
Is there is something off with Kaela?
It's like chuck norris legend.
I actually like it.
Just like Moona with legendary NPC, making shuba squeak simply by existing~
@@ranapriliafulkaela is ex pro player...
@@panjipewe pro in like she play a lot or like she is ex-esport player?
So funny to see everytime Kaela is near, everyone starts to attack her. I guess all those stories chat told them especially JP made them target Kaela out of worry. 😅😂
ID is doing the hyper aggresive comp because its centered around Kaela. Very good strat, but not really good in team fights. Kaela shouldve picked off more enemies before going for the boss kill (in the EN fight).
JP has a more balanced play. Obviously from more experience with the game. Idk about their strats but it seemed like they didnt really prepare any.
EN is very good early game, but suffers in mid to late. They are hyper aggresive in early but dont know what to do in mid game. Fauna really carried their team with her defensive callout and kill steal strats. If only they know how to counter score in late game, then they wouldve really been a contender in this tour.
Imo, jp played the standard eastern asia moba playstyle... play it safe, dont engage in too much fight and just deathballing in the late game, its a good tactic with high chance of winning, but the weakness is too dependant of the others teammates. For id and en, they played very good, despite their ping debuff and inexperience with the game. I say, its a good game to watch
@@seasnow6073 oh yeah its the infamous Chinese turtle gaming of iG. F***ing hated that meta.
@@justlooking070 yeah, pretty much. Thank god unlike dota, pokemon unite is pretty short for a game, so its not that boring to watch
You know, you can be technical and all but that doesn't matter. As long as all regions had their fun, they could care less about these things
@@theadmiral4157But caring about those things are fun though?
The Holo EN team have a really good defense oriented strat against the more aggressive ID and JP teams. Most of all fauna calling out strats calmly even in midst of chaos really caried the team. If they had stolen reyquaza with JP they might have won the game.
Kaela : 5 days new player

Sometimes mental damage is necessary I guess~
I see everytime she charge in, everyone mostly throw everything they have at her.
Yes she died.
She play for fun I think.
I saw many says about how she rally her team instead is excellent.
Ollie's steal was crazy selen has been training her well
@@A_GWAKwork_Orange yeah that wouldve been amazing seeing them in action
This was really fun to watch and I am not even playing the game.
The simplicity of this MOBA makes it very easy to follow, I would love to see a tourney with this game again.
I never thought I can enjoy a 10 mins matches as intense and supportive as this
Pekora had very good positioning, as you saw here 1:31
Pekora was behind the wall gunning down on the Rayquaza
Also all of the EN matches were accredited for their good defense which is why the points accumulated are much lower since in the final match JP and ID focused majorly on getting a lot of points accumulated. It's a larger gap than the normal 300 points+ which occurred during the EN matchups, although that's how I see it anyways
I can see kaela have so much fun in this event, she enjoys destroying holo members confidence and spirits by standing her name as opponent
Ngl, I thought EN gonna be destroyed, but they put intense fight against JP and even win ID I'm so proud.
Thanks for putting this video together!!! It's awesome you got so many perspectives. Translating it all must not have been easy either haha
Even though I know basically nothing about this game it was still really entertaining to watch everyone working together
I think its AMAZING that Hololive & Pokemon UNITE collaborated in this way! had a lot of FUN watching this! SIUUUUU
The way the audio was clipping while Kaela was revealing the winners made me think they were all doing a victory screech. XD
I knew the EN vs JP match was close, but 181 v 190 at Rayquaza is crazy.
Man Kaela really give you a fear when someone mastery a hero jungler that hard to use. Respect for everyone and amazing tournament!
zoroark is hard to use? im a new player and planning to main zoroark
Ollie reine carrying the team
Kaela made many mistakes because she too confident
Id fans: kaela is strong 🥴
Idk about it, she usually overcommit from what i see
She almost die seberal times trying to get kill because she doesnt take consideration of her teammate position
Yeah, Kaela was too risky playing Zoroark, though its still funny that her simple presence practically makes the opponents focus fire on her
@@billm1238 Well yes I mean all of them doing amazing work really not just Kaela but everyone. And the fact the MVP is Ollie is amazing too, I didn't expect Ollie also good when play Moba
Played this game until S7, from what I observed was:
JP really took their META into this game with score oriented and good rotation,
while ID took their experience from other MOBA games with tower objectives hence the pressure given to opponent,
and EN playing defensive to cover their inexperience in MOBA(really wise).
Really fun to watch, make me want to play this game again LOL
Calli doing the "CALLIOPE CURVE" at the end of the match against ID is hilarious.
I know nothing about Unite other that it seems like the real objective of the game is to Get Rayquaza, the power boost was so insane that everything before that is just prepping for that one single fight
Its because the girls are newbie, on the ID vs JP game the JP girls knew they are leading before rayquaza but instead of trying to kill the ID members who are focusing the ray they trying to steal it and end up literally helping ID, leading team shouldnt care about taking down/hitting rayquaza
@@asch3736yah they could have focused on trying to kill the ID instead so even if the ID got Rayquaza they won't be unscatched and only few would be able to score but instead they tried to take Rayquaza when they got so mucb lead already.
@@asch3736they can't, a member of JP team got killed early, just like Anya in EN vs ID match
To make more logical sense to why killing the enemy team is the better idea.
The Rayquaza gives a buff, if you kill the enemies who gets the buff, like 3 of them at least and only 2 of them gets the buff, what was even the point of getting the Rayquaza?
So yeah that's a good point to think about instead of focusing on getting the buff, killing the ones who will receive the buff instead,
@@cemanz reine and ollie will die in one full stack icicle spear from pekora, also in that fight its clear that scizor mach punch and glaceon icicle spear deal the most damage to rayquaza ollie use the avalanche blizzard to kill nene scizor and unintentionally kill the ray, its not that im complaining i like the result where every girls atleast winning once, but imo JP would win that if they doesnt try to steal it
I watched the last 3 game and the comebacks is so fckin real lol. The ID vs EN and ID vs JP goddamnnnn
I still remember when Fauna played this a year ago being clutch with those slaps. Good stuff!
9:39 boy that ID's win score got me all STANDING BY COMPLETE 😂
Unfortunately Kobo pov still out, coz it was explained at the end that she was the one that devised the ID strategy and movement timing. The girl is very smart...
EN did very good! Also Ollie got mvp i didnt know she was so good!
Moba games are very popular in Indonesia, children and adults of all ages have been playing moba games in Indonesia since the last seven years (even person who never played game at all before)
Ollie is a comeback player.
bruh, I read all of your comments and many blamed Kaela's gameplay....
i just want to say to you guys
kaela and the id team have done their best
I know you are disappointed because many have high hopes for Kaela...
but back again this is a game that relies on five people, all mistakes or wins are faced together...
en beating id by a narrow score it's common
but id was able to win against JP with an extraordinary comeback that should be appreciated...🎉
id position two is already really good why do you seem to blame Kaela..
I know you are disappointed but this is just a regular tournament,
So don't get too emotional....😊
Fauna's ult was so clutch during the en vs id Rayquaza fight
Rock VS Scissor VS Paper
It was best short tourney hololive clips, and never get bored. Thx bro
Thanks for this man, translating both JP and ID.
I like how the play it safe strat worked for EN when it came to Kaela, they knew she would pounce so they factored that in when laning. The exact kind of teamwork that makes me want to see them play more moba's or Pokemon Unite, although most other moba's are a lot more rough.
ID win by 555 points. Truly a Smart Brain
Wow, haven’t played this game in a while. Watching them play makes me want to play it again
Yeah... pretty sure that's the biggest reason why Pokémon Unite sponsored that Hololive tournament. 😂
The genuine surprise in Kiara and IRyS' voices when finding out they didn't get last place
They are some funny oddballs alright
Watching it from Ames POV was rough man the lag she had was horrific. I still dont think they would have turned things completely around but it would have been a lot closer if not the legendary EN hating ping
This event was so much fun! I loved seeing the girls having so much fun and the great sportmanship on display
Looks like Pekora understand her role very well, she did a good job & know her positioning area during fight. Really deserved as MVP
10:15 Fauna's reaction lmao
Only JP branch has advantage for high connection 😂.
Poor Calli, Ame, Anya & Reine lagging so much
ID branch has bad connection too my friend, reine and anya does lagging.. yea JP most stable connection
I look forward to the high level players’ commentary on these matches. Like the matches weren’t optimal, but it was a lot better than you’d think. I’d love to know their thoughts on some of the EN girls starting the game this week. It was the official exhibition match, so they must have been watching, right?
Watching ID pov brings me back to my student days where I enter a com shop
this really was an amazing all-branch hololive tournament!
What a great battle, hope for more in the future
Honestly with Ame lagging so badly and also the other EN members only started playing the game a few days ago, I think EN did pretty good!!!
Ollie with the clutch steal is never not amazing. Also Reine's last minute defense is also a highlight for me.
Ame's timing to stun ID when they were battling for Rayquaza is also a highlight. If not for her then I'm sure Kaela would've steal that.
This match have everything
The Kaela callouts are scary she was in it
Props to the EN team. I thought they were gonna get destroyed, but they were actually kn par with the other teams, I'm really proud of them.
Sad that Ame's connection decided to be difficult that tourney but they still managed to win against the feared ID team! Glad to see everyone was having much fun!
as you can see kaela should controlling everything like rotation, rayquaza timing, jungling, shotcalling. I think that is why her focused is mess up. if all id know how to play just like jp mem did. the communication is gonna be more calm and kaela can focus on her jobdesk
kaela got it together at game 1 but messed up in late game, but if you notice in game 2 she lost focus and ollie kobo help a lot with remainder and everything. all in all everyone doing good and i do think everyone know how to play even if they only practice in a short time.
Kaela is the worst in this tournament after anya stop disrespecting other member like this Ollie and reine literally carrying
stop the term "babysitting" when they literally playing so good man, you guys downplay the others member so bad.
@maximaid because she's not babysitting them bro, ollie reine kobo play better than kaela in the second match.
Even ollie keep reminding ela about the time spawn and the ult restrain. all in all everyone play good seriously if you think about how most of them new to moba and only practice for like few days.
I can't believe how different the 3 branches played the same game. ID played so aggresively trying to pick kill here and there in hope for pressure. EN played it sporatically. Kill whenever they can and spread out as much letting calli farm and scoring alone. JP on the other hand stayed together, focusing on objective and scoring. 3 different team, 3 different approach. What a fun tournament.
Jeez, anytime holo does anything competitive all the fanboys come out of the woodwork and rant about why their favorite team didn't win... It's just a game.
Ikr lol😂 See the top comment with its 25+ replies, a bunch of fanboys arguing abt A is trolling, B is the weaklink, C is deadweight, etc. It's just downright annoying sometimes seeing their comments abt irrelevant things lol. The girls are having fun anyway
KAELA IS LEAGUE OF LEGEND VETERAN !!
ID : Aggressive Gameplay Like scissors
En : Defensive Gameplay (PickOff) Like Rock
JP : Stable gameplay like paper
the tournament wass perfect , everyone win 1 match .. lets gooo
Kaela can be summarize as that one Boss that waits for you outside where you spawn
A menace.
ID was working really well together, but they also made two mistakes that EN capitalized on; They left Calli to farm and score in the bot path uncontested, and they didn't post up at Ray before the 2 minute mark, which gave EN the advantage during the Ray fight. Good job on EN for adapting from game 1 to game 2, and well played everyone all around for giving us such contested games!
The closest thing we seen to seeing the girls playing a game like league.
EN reallt put the pressure on the JP girls
Aqua used to play and stream league with Kagura Mea in bili bili and she's quite good too.
Too bad MOBA isn't really popular in jp
Some ID girls played Wild Rift
@@acecream8568 i know that
There's so many highlights and great things I can say about the 3 generations in this tournament. But somehow, Kiara asking in utter disbelief at 5:12 "we got it?!" cracked me up XD as if she wasn't expecting to emerge victorious from that team fight
i fear no man... but that member (kaela)....it scares me
The mvp in these tournament are rayquaza fr fr
They all know they need to keep eye on Kaela. GGWP Girls!!!
Ahh so happy with this tournament hope hololive gonna doing this kind of game in the future. It is a shame that kobo not playing as tanker or initiator like the way she did usually but choose as support. But that was okey, she did good by learning the meta and arrange the strategy with kaela. Reine omg she did great 👍 anya mvp despite the lag and ollie mvp as the leader ?! And good job for en and jp the results is unpredictable since i was so sure that id gonna lose fr fr from their last night practice as a team 😅😅
i think Ollie is more like objective reminder than a leader, kaela is the true leader
I'm glad everyone got a win 😊
Despite what IRyS said, I wonder if she would have performed better with Lapras. My assumption is that Ame had pretty much exclusively been playing tank so they had to adjust to keep a good team composition, which was probably the right call for overall team performance. I also wonder how things would have differed if it had been six matches instead of 3. Would the rematch rounds be closer, or would they be more decisive?
Multiple POV clip tskr 🙏
Poor Kiara was so demoralized from her streaming problems earlier in the day.
Fauna ia indeed a dota veteran
Wow nice POV edit thank you so much ❤❤
