Fauna as team captain was huge. She applied her Dota2 experience very well especially on team fights. She knows and senses what to do on situations and if her teammates are getting carried away, she guided them on what to do and it compensated a lot for having relatively newbie teammates. Team coordination was great. Well played.
Not just that. She also held the team morale high. You don't always notice it, but when you get tilted and lose confidence while playing a game, you end up playing much worse than usual most of the time. So her positive cheering and encouragements were important as well since the EN members went into this tournament thinking they would get utterly wrecked.

Honestly they did way better than I expected. The first game only really fell apart after Ame started lagging. A shame about the 3rd place finish but I'm unironically proud of them.

It really was lol. I was watching her pov and several times, she'd do a ground pound with snorelax only to have folks rubber band away. Then there was the one time towards the end where she was in the ring to score points with no opposing harassment, and nothing happened. Still was an enjoyable watch, and I'm proud of EN with the little practice they had.
It unironically was the ping lol, not just Ame, but Calli too had lag issues, so they were heavily handicapped.
Anya also had really bad connection, and i think it was Kaela that was having FPS drops. It was still a good tourney though.

Everyone did so great and we're so proud of them.
It was super impressive to see their skill jump up so much once they realized it was the real deal. They all did really well despite the dumpster fire everyone was cringing with expectation for. So proud of their 2rd podium!

Technically EN didn't totally lose but made a three way tie against Jp and Id. Which is pretty far away from people's expectation.
I mean en won so everyone was one win one loss unlike what I expected which was losing against both jp and id. I'm pleasantly surprised that they managed against both teams.
Too bad Ame's internet is so lazy. I was watching her perspective and it hurts so much. Still manage to get some clutch ground pound when the internet allows it.
Yeah, it just happened to be the case that overall points were the deciding factor in the end. Unfortunately their strategy seemed to work best when on the safe/defensive side. Sucks because if their strategy worked, they could theoretically win both games but end up with the least overall points.

Gaining an early upperhand against experienced players of JP and maintaining team composure during the brutal onslaught against the monsters of ID and pulling off a comeback despite the lag and despite the others being novices really shows how well they played as a team. Everyone played really well.
Kiwawa saying she wants to hear Fauna speak when giving directions and Irys sticking to Fauna like glue to support her was so great so see. New players knew they needed guidance and played very well despite lack of experiece.

For a short period of time they had to practice, they did absolutely well. I didn't doubt them for a moment since I knew they'll pull through(Even if EN got 3rd. )Also bless Fauna for keeping the confidence up. What sucked though was the ping(literally). Glad they all enjoyed themselves.
Why'd they have such short practice time? Was that for all or was the EN team just late on signing up?

Mr (or msr) saka, I must say how grateful I am for your compilations of fauna's streams. I couldn't watch her streams for around when she returned from her vacation due to personal reasons (moved to germany, if you're curious). Even though now i have internet, I'm still super busy with stuff IRL and have a little time to watch youtube. But because youake these 20 minutes videos I can stil enjoy her strams. I wish you the best in life, my favorite clipper (๑•ᴗ•๑)♡

Honestly very happy for them. They carried the "1HP and a dream" vibe and proved everyone that dreams can come true, especially when most of them were beginners too. If Calli and Ame didn't get screwed by lag near the end of the first match, they possibly could've gotten a higher rank.
EN is the example of a group of sheep fight like a group of lion when leaded by a lion (kirin in this case)

the EN girls really did a great job preparing and coordinating in the games but i was impressed by all the girls to be honest- would have never guessed someone like Nene was a MOBA gamer but the teams all seemed like they had put a bunch of work in to make the games close.
Watching EN gives me 90s sports movie flashbacks. The only thing that would complete it would be bald glasses Fauna doing a pep talk and shouting 'now go take that second half!"
Am I the only one who finds it adorable with just how quickly Calli puts her sheriff’s hat on and off.
It's called a Fugi reactive, a thing that changes their PNG when the speaker is talking. In Calli's case it switches from hatless Calli to with hat on Calli whenever she speaks and vice versa.

Even an army of sheep led by a lion is formidable! Fauna's leadership and the rest of the team's cohesion were really nice to see! Im sure theyll do better next time, but all things being equal they did fantastic!
GG team EN! Proud of them. Short time to prepare for this event and lagg (Ame & Mori) while playing but still can give JP a hard time and won against ID, they actually pretty good! 👍👍

Thanks for clipping this whole recent Unite arc Saka, it was actually an epic gamer moment. Everyone obviously trained a lot in their limited time, Fauna did great as team captain, and even though they didn't win the EN team played super well and managed to surpass everyones expectations. The girls should definitely feel proud of themselves, because I know all their fans are!

They did a fantastic job fauna prioritized the correct strategy for their skill level and experience... they were patient and defended so well and just waited on opportunities to open. Two games w EN were low scoring the jp vs ID game was huge scoring 😅

They really did a good job, I thought it was going to be a masacre from the ID and the JP members, but all three matches were down the wire. It was a good tournament to watch, despite the last place.

I was certain that the EN team was going to get obliterated but they pulled through against the ID team. Extremely proud of them.
I don’t really know anything about moba or this game, but the only thing I knew was whoever gets Rayquaza wins. I had no idea. Ray is the deciding factor in every match.
Only way to negate that is to defeat every Regi and don't get gank'd while depositing points... or gank the other team if they beat Rayquaza and steal the points.
I felt bad for fauna and calli throughout this. All the girls tried hard, but they were they only two that seemed to be fully confident throughout

i know that HoloID would be a strong match considering the large influence of DOTA, League, and some similar mobile games to south east-asians. But it was equally match to everyone
Doubters didn't know pokemon unite is a broken game. In the end, it depends on rayquaza. Even id won against jp.
I think they did well, I had some doubts because they never did pub as a team.
I do wonder though if there were any other more moba experienced HoloEN that could have also played.
As far as I know only Fauna (Dota) and Ame (HotS) have any MOBA experience at all, the rest have never really played such a game before.
@@tdelfino2509 so far as we know, it's hard to really know until they do a breakdown of everyone. I did see that Ame did Pokemon Unite before on stream a while back just as Fauna did.
