  • Check out this green and charcoal split twist #dutchpour. When trying to use complimentary colors (in this case green and copper), metallics are a great option because they don't tend to over mix and create muddy colors in #acrylicpouring. Also, in creating the perfect composition in any acrylic pouring painting, consider using the rule of thirds in your layout. This means your focal point should not be in the center.

    This still turned out really pretty. What would have happened if you added more of the vibrant colors to the middle and blew them out? Would it muddy it?

    • @beccaharkinsart
      @beccaharkinsart  8 месяцев назад

      I don’t think it would be muddy because it is white and Metallics. I wish it had more colors in the center too.

    Love watching you create your pieces! Is you blower on low speed? I’m having trouble with my paint flowing on low speed. Could it be my paint needs to be thinner?

    • @beccaharkinsart
      @beccaharkinsart  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! I always use it on low speed. If your paint doesn’t move it is probably too thick or you need to get closer to the paints.

      Thanks! I let the paint pour over the edges and let it dry. Then I varnish the whole thing.

    You may have said it before but what does “muddy” mean?

    • @beccaharkinsart
      @beccaharkinsart  Год назад

      Great question! Muddy is when two colors, usually complimentary colors, mix together and make brown or gray
