In the world there are many great singers, perhaps on the fingers of two hands those comparable to Mori.
What makes her outstanding is the emotional connection she can create by singing. When someone criticizes her for singing often with closed eyes, they don't understand that behind her closed eyelids she is traveling to another place, where she recreates the emotions she needs to deliver her song.
The most amazing thing for me is how quickly she can get in and out of that emotional situation, just like that, in an instant (f.e. look at her at 2:03). In other words, I think she’s the best actress of all when she performs.

Asia and BJ, I agree with you both, Morissette is a very talented and amazing artist, she can establish emotional connection between herself, the song, and the audience and viewers. Despite singing in a non-English language, you are able to feel the goosebumps and the emotions through her singing skills and abilities. 🥰
Just to give you a better idea, "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" means "I Already Want To Let Go" and the song speaks about a love that is painful and hurting that the person is already wanting to let go but the heart is saying to hold on. We can feel this emotional struggle in the way Mori delivers the song, with her vocal cries and her "crying her heart out", we can see her whole being giving it all out, such a breath-taking performance. At the end we can see, like in most of her performances, that beautiful smile of hers, she knowing she nailed and slayed it once again! 🥰

The live Band Version in Studio 28 is I find even better, if that's possible, the song is BROKEN MARRAGE VOW, from a TV Show, you hear at the begining the disbelief in her voice, then the realisation that this is happening, through the intensity of her vocals, and then the true fight, taking it even higher near the end, to come back down to realise it's over, the original singer Sheri or something like that, even sung this in duet with Mori, Mori sang it with Regine in duet, Mori loves Regine and gave her a big hug after, but Mori's stage presence and vocals is just outstanding, sorry Regine, try the live Band Version, no need to do a reaction, but maybe give a mention of it in your next Mori reaction, there's WATERWALK a modern Gospel song, a original writen by Mori and Co writers from Sony Christian Music, or a cover from a friend called COLOUR EVERYWHERE a beautiful song of true love bringing colour into your life, then a Tagalog song called PAGBIGYANG MULI about asking for forgiveness for doing wrong to your partner, this is a cover, and then another live Band Version of POWER, just out of this World, do what you have to do and ENJOY, see you later in your reactions. 😊

I found myself going down the rabbit hole with your channel that I ended up with your Bill Burr reaction videos as well. Asia - i love the tone of your voice because it reminds me of the golden age of R&B in the 90s. Girl you can sing! BJ - I like how you unconsciously push Asia’s buttons during your live reaction and seeing Asia give you the stare of death, but I know it’s all fun and games. You two have great chemistry and that’s what matters. Anyway, I’m here also to make a recommendation about another artist from the Philippines who has been affectionately called the Queen of Covers. Her name is Gigi de Lana. I don’t think you’ve reacted to her yet because I searched for her in your video library and didn’t find one. I could be wrong and blind. But if not, I strongly suggest you check out her “Through the Fire / Piano in the Dark” cover with her own band (Gigi Vibes) for starters. You both will like it knowing how I think I have a pretty good idea what ya’ll like. You won’t be disappointed. Her band is pretty amazing. I’ll make a huge donation just to make this happen 😂
