Trivia: This was the performance that got her the title, "Asia's Phoenix". The power/fullness of her belting range and the vocal effects (i.e. vocal squeaks) were insane. The pitch issues had to do with her low range - her lower range was still underdeveloped here, so she had some minor issues managing those really low notes in "Emotions" and it got her off balanced. I mean, it's "Emotions", the hardest pop song in history! I don't even care about the pitch issues with the whistle notes - the fact that she had the guts to do that on a big stage like that, with no auto tune and no dubbing, is 🔥🔥🔥.*

Morissette's squeaks are all intentional. Some of them sound better than others though. She mentioned in a recent stream that she uses them a lot less cause she cause she doesn't want that to be her "signature" but she still adds them cause fans like it. She is much more sparse in the usage of those these days.
