Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

The state is trying SO HARD not to give the jury complete evidence and context... why?
It's in the rules of evidence. You can't just show manipulative pieces of something out of context and only show parts of evidence that support your flimsy case.

A lot of defense counsel's objections are being overruled unjustly. Many of the State's questions are improper and irrelevant to the charges in the indictment. Attorney Matthews, Schardt, and Steele are objecting properly and with merit in many of these instances. State is really reaching... If I'm a juror in the box listening to all of this transpire in real time, then I'm wondering why the State is providing limited context to certain witness testimony and evidence such as pictures and video.
