I hit the same wall as you a while back, so I switched to knitting and sewing and honestly it’s been the absolute best thing I’ve ever done for my art. I put less pressure on myself and my art when it’s a functional piece because it’s being judged at a completely different standard than a piece I’m drawing to post on social media to attract clients.
What and incredibly cathartic video. I can't think of much more to add on because it so closely alighted with how I've been feeling. Excellently explained, and I'm looking forward to anything you post on the channel in the future!
Loved the video. As for a suggestion on what to do with the paper, bookbinding might be fun to get into (if you can afford another hobby that is) It’s something i have gotten into and it could be a fun way to make your own sketchbooks as well. It also makes for great gifts to loves ones :)

Would you know how to make ink? 🤔 Or like graffite or paint or something... Then make an art peice where you've not only created an incredible art peice, but also created the paper and material to make the art. Like ever single part was created by you. I feel that could be pretty cool to do hehe :)
I don't know who you are but this is such a vulnerable and beautiful video. I once read somewhere how creators can be so competitive (with others or themselves) but for the audience, it's just more good stuff that they get!
OH MY GOSH!!! You have worded how I think about projects and success so well. Any zigzag towards being better makes me think of the teenagerial ambition of success that has stuck with me. I have forced myself to work on smaller projects now and it's hard to fight with yourself. I did a big project, now I can relax, but hey I am doing a small project, so I am actually winning. I don't know if your social media numbers will get bigger (I hope they do), but I want you to know that I really, really appreciate putting my (and a lot of people's) struggles in very compact carry-around-in-hard-case words.
