- You've seen this car before if you pay attention to our channel and you know we are all a huge fan of it, what's not to love of a light blue classic big block Chevy Impala? And with a manual transmission behind it? Even better! However the last time we worked on the car we swapped out the CPP lowering springs which took it too low, for a set of Moog big block springs that took it just a touch TOO high.
With the game plan of cutting a coil or so out of the front to drop it back down to more modern muscle car stance, and while we're in there address some cracked and dry rotted old suspension bushings. It's a lot of work but fortunately this car has been pretty well cared for so it SHOULD go smoothly. Right?
Let's get to work!
It amazes me how many people get enjoyment out of watching someone working on someone’s car .I’m totally amazed by how much enjoyment I get out when I used to the job myself and sometimes still do thanks rich
Its nice you show your small mistakes, were all human and can relate. Beautiful car. Great work.
Rich, if you were not having so much fun, you would not have any at all 🤣. Nice work you do 🤙
I love the 66 Chev big blocks! Nice work.
Great Job Rich as always. And thanks for the commentary on the Impala Austin.
I can't wait to get my Saab in there for an alignment thanks again for the upload and best wishes from Columbus Ohio USA 👍
Great job on that beautiful Impala!
Keep it coming!
I personally always set it up modified spec for what I want to achieve everyone has their way. Just helps me with control arm adjustment, stack and drag, and make it green for the customer so they don’t freak out! 😂 Great job! If anyone has been doing alignments for any length of time we all have forgot to tighten something up once at ride height I know I have!
what a beautiful old car , to think I had 3 of these 66's at on time , a 4 door impala with 283 , a 66 2 dr 327 and a 66 impalas ss ,miss them to this day .
Rich always goes above and beyond when he gets ahold of your car which is the reason they get swamped with work I know that I would bring mine to them for work
Love the video might have to bring my car up from cincy sometime in the near future
You guys do some great work!!!! I appreciate what you do
Looks like a nice donk.
Love the sound of a big block Chevy
Big Beautiful Blue Big Block Banging Gears, what`s not to love?
Awesome video - thanks !
Awesome car
Great video to watch true professionals at work to make things right. I have a 68 Camaro and the new coil springs I have in it is making the ride too high. I have no idea on how much to take off the coil to lower it to a better ride height. It either that or go with adjustable coil over shocks.
Rich can fix you right up
1972 family took a trip to NM from Texas. 1965 Impala 283 had the cam go flat coming thru the hills by Albuquerque. Chevy Dealership Repaired the motor. No Charge cause it had less then 50k miles on the car.
Today Chevrolet Dealers wont repair any car under a 2012. My how times have changed.
Lowered a few in my day especially s10s I figured a coil is 2 inches
I know I haven't found a Uniform way to remove Lower control arm bushings, later models Upper too... That has always been a F.A.F.O. kinda thing... Never the same way twice...
Rich what happened with your gravity assistant no show or call in😅
Yeah I’m the 149th person to hit the like button
Good video. Bearded goon is annoying
