The Hot wheels R34 they use the Z Tune Body kits, While the Tomica they made 2 version of it. The V Spec Nur II with the stock irl actual factory wheels and the Z Tune with a 5 spoke Nismo Enkie wheels. The irl Casted wheel only put in the Premium and Classic Premium of Tomica.
By the way, I saw a Real Stock bayside blue Skyline GT-R R34 here in Brazil. For a guy who passed the childhood and teenage years playng Gran Turismo 2, and NFS Underground (specially the Underground 2), its like you see you favorite rock star or artist ever!
The Tomica spoiler looks much nicer, but I like the HW one more, since it's a FF themed car, so it makes sense for it to have a huge spoiler. Fits with the theme of the car. Personally speaking, I like the Hot Wheels R34 a lot more too. I love the overall shape of the car, the front is nicely detailed, and the paint is better as well. I really like the Tomica cars, but for me they really underwhelmed with this casting. It looks ugly imo.
Tomica takes the design straight out of a stock, "from factory" car designs while the r34 takes more of a modified flamboyant design. hotwheels are like someone on their teen life where they like almost every kind of designs and cars while the tomicas are like those middle age and grown up man that likes something classy looking
I’d like to get the HW version, I don’t like the front lights tho because there is something only on the front and on the top,sides nothing. You know the lights are like a box shape. I have to Tomica and it’s pretty👍 even the Greenlight one doesn’t have the Skyline written on the back.
I Don't own Tomica's version of the Skyline, however, I do own Johnny Lightning's version, from their Import Heat series, which is more comparable to Hot Wheels version, minus the real rubber tires. From Greenlight's Tokyo Torque series, which I also own, may be more comparable with Tomica's, being slightly smaller in scale, with an opening hood, clear plastic for the headlights, and having real rubber tires. It would be interesting to compare all, and thanks for these comparisons that you have made. Take care.

I’ve seen a real r34 since I live in the Philippines and based on what I saw the tomica is more detailed but the r34 is a wide car so that’s what hot wheels a done right but I prefer tomica cause it looks stock unlike the hot wheels it has a large rear spoiler and a large front splitter

So, the Hot Wheels Skyline has a wider body, because he have the Nismo bodykit. Front bumper, hood, side skirts, and rear bumper. Its a awesome kit, the best body kit for the R34 GT-R (even better than the 2fast 2furious one), but if one day I get my hands on a real Skyline i will preffer the tottaly stock one

If you will compare the z-tune version and that blue r34 of hot wheels, I will pick the Tomica because they are focused on realistic tampos not like hot wheels which always put tampos in the wrong place 😒

Me as collector of tomica premium, they have accurate weight representation! That skyline is accurate as it is lighter than supra and porsche 911 carrera rs. Hotwheels version have custom body kit so its wider and the wing is also custom fitted by paul walker so, making a comparison is a bit hard. Here in Indonedia, that goes for $30-$50, cheapest at around $15-$20, so here, thats not ideal. Basic summary is hotwheels is custom bodykit, rims, hoods etc, while tomica V-spec is a custom variation from nissan of the basic r34. Its like the mustang line , from Mustang eco boost, to GT350R. The v spec is like the gt350 line of mustang while the very top of the line is v-spec nismo(or maybe another nismo package but it have nismo badging)
Tomica all the way, its stock and not tainted by the "JDM Bro" culture

I think hw like tuned GTR. Because the spoiler is so big and the tyre is wide. I prefer the tomica cause i love stock GTR.

And i think Vspec Nűr is have 0-11,000rpm Tachometer. And 320km/h Speedometer. Compare to Normal 10,000/9,000rpm. 180km/h speedometer.
