Dude, old good Top 1s from about 2 years ago are being destroyed. Misanthrope has been split in two parts, Galaxy Collapse has been nerfed but not that much and I actually like the idea, but nerfing this level is just fucking awful. If someone will be a good guy and will convice Zynvire to buffdate SC and Brittank88 to make Misanthrope a full level again, he would be my hero.

Thank you for actually having the actual music for it. I don't really care much about it being nerfed, other than being sad for Dolphy who was making lots of progress on the unnerfed version before, but the music mashup was really horrible on the verification.

its not about the nerf but why its nerfed. the host zynvire say the original verifier or dolphy isnt good enough to verify the level to make it a top 1, saying dolphy is a hacker and he say that dolphy did nothing to it for a long time
so he gave it to xanii instead and when xanii does nothing to it for a long time. he just told xanii to nerf it

Should honestly be called "Silentium Circulus" instead of Silent Circles because of how many nerfs Xanii was -forced- told to make (to make it top 50 apparently) and Zynvire deciding to not be patient and wait for Dolphy to finish verifying.
No disrespect to Xanii verifying this version (he's a good gd player and I respect him), but I'm very disappointed in Zynvire for turning what was an impossible demon into a top 50 demon, rather than keeping it at a top 1 (tarnishing a legacy).
I hope Icedcave/Hyperbola's version better represents the legacy of Silent Circles than Zynvire's version did.

I agree to be honest, it was nerfed for the sake of being fun and even still people don’t find it fun. The deco fails at representing the original silent circles, it’s mid in the best of parts and genuinely ugly in the rest. This level is bad not only as a silent circles remake, but also as a level in general.

I dont mind that its not top 1, but i think its a bit disappointing that its not top 5 or even top 10, since it was supposed to be a top 1 and it was nerfed into the ground. Its just a super forgettable top 50, bad gp and bad deco nc demon now

@Penc1L he was just not good enough, I watched enough streams to see how much he struggled with 23-40, he would pass it every 1-3k atts and it was just not right
I really hope this doesn't get rated so someone can make a new remake of silent circles being alteast top 10 and somewhat enjoyable. This is just disappointing

Icedcave and Hyperbola is making another version of Silent Circles. It looks nearly identical to the original (the back half is nerfed, but it sticks with the original wave corridor). You should definitely check it out.

Really disappointed tbh this level doesn’t bring that “silent” feeling at all, would rather wait for someone to make an actual good Silent Circles remake that was atleast top 3. That would bring it the justice it needs.

But what is much worse is that dolphy spend so much time on the buffed version and now this level will be forgotten. I hope Dolphy will someday beat the buffed version of the

honestly i feel so bad for dolphy u get a masive verification took of u bc u taking to long then see it nerfed like so much its rly sad to see what came from a level called "silent circles"

i will be honest: i do not think there is a "good" version of this level.
im not going to discuss new gameplay in the second half of the level as im sure theres going to be plenty of players who can beat the level and share their own opinion. So...
SC aged badly. It was finished 2 years ago and it shows, with some of the parts feeling out of place. It feels like the theme of the level wasnt explained well enough to the creators and it ended up being a mess. Some parts are dark, some bright, some blue, some actually use the original colors and are blue and purple, and others just make up their own theme. Looks alright in a vacuum, but not too good as a full package. (also the fade at 64 is bugged in real gameplay as well, great job)
The extension wasnt well built either. For starters: its nearly 50% wave. Thats a lot for an ending sequence and even one of the wave parts was decorated like a nine circles level in itself, adding to the general lack of theme in the level, and i find it surprising that a blue nine circles level struggles with design consistency and identity overall.
At this point i do not believe there is a worse NC megacollab on the demon list than Silent Circles. Despite their own issues i still think that levels such as Balengu Vortex, SWI, Generic Wave and Cosmic Cyclone managed to be a better NC collab in terms of theme cohesiveness and design quality (especially Generic Wave, i think its done really well) than SC.
The fact that the level was nerfed after being hyped up as the next top 1 was the final nail in the coffin to most, but i myself do not care at all. If anything, i think this level deserved the BOJ treatment so that it was released at all. Its not the best, but its a remake of well... Silent Circles. A garbage impossible level. Maybe we shouldnt have expected much.

although i was pretty mad about it being ultranerfed, what really sucks was that it was barely polished. like according to cursed, most of sc difficulty is from bugs and stuff and according to fnm04, the amount of visual bugs are uncountable. so not only was the levels legacy "ruined", they didnt even try to make it decent like yata/boj

The creators put a lot of effort into that project (making cool decoration), but of course, if it's not the "nEw tOp 1" The project is ruined because no one will turn around to see the level.
I'm glad this level isn't top 1, because gameplay is cancer. This would've been just another wave based ImPOssIbLe demon.
Deco is BAD. Some parts are just copy+paste, very empty and that face at 1:16 is just stupid. For over 2+ years of existence they didn't even bother to fix bug at the left 1:00

I actually very happy it got nerfed, as even though I would have liked it as a top 5, if the nerfs mean it’s more enjoyable for top players then I’m very happy, especially considering most top 50 levels have horrible gameplay

i wanted dolphy to verify the unerfed but this is still good
the decoration of the level being a bit outdated, kinda mid and not very cohesive, the only really relevant factor about this level was its difficulty. but now that its nerfed, nothing about it stands out. it doesn't even feel like the original silent circles or anything. now, it will just be forgotten very fast. what an anticlimactic end to this level.

1:17 This is me right now.
What a bad level. The deco in this admittedly looks alright until the drop but as soon as it reaches the drop this gets genuinely awful. There is almost no part cohesion in gameplay or deco. The deco looks good in some places but is ugly and out of place in others. The gameplay randomly switches from nerfed impossible demon to the most boring and generic 2.1 gameplay possible. Silent Circles did look impressive at one point in time, now it’s just generic garbage. The gameplay could have at least been kept as top 20ish so it could at least be somewhat impressive to look at but instead it’s just going to be lumped in with all the levels around bloodlust difficulty. Although it doesn’t really matter about nerfs, the level didn’t seem that good anyway.
No amount of nerfs could have ever fixed this and no I’m not saying this just because I’m pissed at it isn’t a top 1, I’m saying it now because it appears that people are actually starting to see how bad this is.
Still good job to xanii I guess, a top 50 is still pretty impressive.
