No disrespect to younger crew viewing this. Take it from an oldun' from back in the early 90's - this set is quintessential. Sasha was always doing his own thing with the genre. This is solid gold in his art. Like Tenaglia. A renegade, shaman, seer of the now and future, so to speak. If you like this then make it your mission to 'be there' before he hangs up his 'phones. Respected across the field - Sasha is a sage of this style. Progressive barely covers it. I've been lucky enough to stand in front of his decks from dodgy crossovers in '91 to the sublime, deep vibes of his LNOE era ( most recently at Fabric last summer) and all points between. This guy has well, ......something special. I think my era looks back and thanks their lucky stars they were part of what he did and continues to do. Sasha, thank you so much for doing what you do. In one respect I define the chapters of my life by your deft touch. I've no doubt many others do too. Music is the universal language of life and the message in this mix and others like it draw us together in the moment. All we have is now. 'Open your mind' is the call. We did. And nothing will ever be the same again. Peace.
Wow, I've been listening to Sasha for 3 years now and can say with certainty that his music and mixes has had a massive impact on my life. Pretty sure I will be listening to his mixes until I die. No other artist can make this kind of magic.
