The best period of club music, period. It was the magical zenith moment that everything came together. The clubbers were discerning, clued up and fun types that weren't judgemental. The drugs were still brilliant, the music was such good quality that it will forever stand the test of time. No mobile phones, no goons, no bullshit. Just straight up excitement and clubs everywhere in every city. Amazing, amazing times.

I came into the scene right at the tail end of the 90s and really got into the club/rave seen from 1999-2010. While I agree the music was amazing and still had great, vibrant people, I still can’t help but wonder if I missed the true heyday of it all when dance music started taking off in the USA in 1992. When S&D had a residence at Twilo…. what I wouldn’t do to go back in time and attend just ONE night at the monthly residence. Having said that, I think once everyone got a little bit away from spinning straight up Trance (which I won’t lie, I was totally into) and it was all about progressive house/electro house/break beats/etc, that’s when the music really hit it’s peak. So yes, great time to be in the scene. I remember seeing this tour. It was in Portland on a suspended wooden floor. People were so pumped I actually was afraid the floor was going to cave in from all the jumping. Amazing times…
I hear you loud and clear. I missed the window by like 5 years, but I caught the tail end of it when everything turned into "trap" then eventually mumble rap. I should be proud I at least got like 3 years. (Born 91)
Eras feliz y no lo sabías o quizá si pero no estabas totalmente conciente de ello que envidia amigo tengo 28 años y será una espina el no haber vivido aquel 2002 aquellas épocas :')
I'd give anything to go back to those times.
no fucking way this is 20 years old, truly timeless
Where has 20 years gone. I’m still partying tho 😂❤newly divorced & back in the shovel. The garys aren’t💩now tho 😂
22 years later and this right here STILL moves me!!! I’m f***ing 50! Feels like just yesterday.
I used to listen to a recoding of this on my minidisc.... haha. We're OLD
A lifetime before we met, my wife was deep into the rave scene in Southern California (1996-2000) She tells stories about the epic parties, good vibes, endless dancing. Truly the golden age. Finding these mixes now, in 2022, makes me nostalgic for an experience that we never shared. At least we're listening to these sets together now. We went and saw S&D last week at an outdoor venue in downtown LA and I can assure you, they are as relevant as ever. Absolute smoke show of a set, three hours of creative, innovative tunes. Good music is timeless and these two are gods.
Sashha
Wow. Would love to see them together
2019 and still my favorite live set of all time
same here bro !
Idem
Me too man! Loooooooove it every time
It's up there for me. 15 minutes of Chilling Moments bliss never gets old!
we got this in 2020, let's go!
like a fine wine better with age.
Best times, best clubs, best music, best atmosphere, no closing hours, no smoking ban, alcohol for everyone, no decibel limit, everyone seemed happy... God the early 90's were good. Amen fellow lovers of the good life ✨️🎗✨️👌
Sasha and Digweed will always remain the best DJ's in the business. 30 years from now, when electronic has faded (sadly,) people will remember this duo as being the best and most creative with their mixes!
While I agree with you, this comment did not age well.
My men, dance music will not die never.. In 30 years we will be 70 years old, and we will see party in TV live from Mars...
I'm of the biggest fans of them ever but you can only say something this dumb if you have no real dance music education
House music will never die
We getting there.
The 15 minutes of multiple mixes of “chilling moments” is just awesome.
2023 and still an amazing set
This beats and sounds more 'progressive' than now, 2024!!❤❤
I really thought my friend was messing with me - "So, did you hear Sasha play your track on that Essential Mix last Saturday?" haha, I downloaded it on dial up to believe it for myself - 07. Nosmo vs Krispy - One For The Road - @ 1:44:13, still love this set, still blown away to have something included in this mix
Kris B great track to end with
that must of been a buzz...
Legendary bro
Still making music?
That is an incredible feeling and congratulations on that. I probably heard your track when I saw the delta heavy in Memphis
11 years later and still massive. un-fucking-believable. thank you
I still love it too man. I'm glad I could help you hear it more ways than one. :)
+olejfull Yeahh.... Very Un fucking -Believeble..... Love it, and that makes them 12 for me.
I recently drove from Florida to California and back and had this playing non stop, so much fun
I was 17. Bought DVB-S receiver few weeks before I tune EM on BBCR1 and listen & record this mix. Never count how many times I´ve heard it. It was mindblowing and totally different from all music aronud me at that times. I definitely switch to this kind of music. Loving S&D, Cattaneo, Warren, Oakenfold, of course Cox, Seaman, Voorn, Howells, Emerson, Tenaglia... Now I´m close to 40 and YES, still loving this, every day of my life.
Me too , 40 , and listened à lot , one of the Best live, Best djs❤
I’d imagine John and Sasha showed zero emotion this night. Locked in and focused as this streamed live and was first of a legendary tour. I thought I had witnessed greatness at Echostage this past July but this takes it even further. These two blokes are timeless and so important to the genre. Thank you all for the history lesson per this upload.
1:40:00 mother of all that is holy
I remember one night, Sasha and Digweed played an arena event in Edmonton, and I was taking a piss, and Sasha stumbles in. He fumbles around, can't find his zipper, and while stumbling to get it out to take a piss, I swear he pissed on his hands.
But his set was brilliant.
@@JasonStobbePersonal hahahahahha
I dunno I heard slight trainwreck during Diggers set lol
@@blindbeatzz we should scrap it then and replace it with yours
Digweed opens that caveman/tribal instinct part of my brain. locked away deep down in all of us. i love him for not "changing with the times"
The mix from Everytime into, and then the double mix of Chilling Moments, around 36 mins onwards, is still one of the best bits of dj-ing I've ever heard.. Digweed showing he has so much control on the decks.. its hypnotic!!
He has the best blending skills for sure. And in 2002, without tractors, and cdj2000 , autosync,.... mixing spotless long long transitions. Magic
I listen to this set time to time for the mix between Yunus Guvenen - Red Pilot and Adam Dived - Headfirst. One of the best transitions I've ever heard!!!!
mccyber sends shivers down my spine hearing that mix between the 2 😎
@@mccyber search BOD my house, from 94 I think 😉
@@Kenny-tc6rg I can't believe Adam Dived stole this.... lol
call it old school - whatever. This moves my soul, man. good stuff.
1million times better than the new edm crap with jumping clowns
Doug Hayduk couldn't have said it better m8
96-06 best time for progressive house and drum and bass. everything was produced analog and being invented. geez I remember that I had to leave my house and look for this DVD at a few Virgin records before I found it. took me the greater part of a day. now you just tube it. dvd/cd sounds better though.
hey Max stepoff the clowns man theyre cool
Its a pity this doesnt have the intro with Tong, Sasha and Digweed
The pinnacle of Progressive House music. A set that defined a sound for a generation. I recorded this on tape when I was 20 🤣 Now I can enjoy it in digital glory. The way these 2 greats go with the flow is incredible. It was an honour to be able to posited to history live. The only thing better would have been being there 😎
Got to see this show on their Dallas stop at the Bronco Bowl, circa 2002. What a night...if you were in the building, you'll never forget the sound in the alley amphitheater; heavy. Probably the most people I had ever seen in that venue; floor to ceiling and all around, bathrooms, the bar where Prototype had a second stage, hallways, entrance, people shoulder to shoulder all night...triple blue dolphins, red devils, & white doves.
Saw them also that night! Great venue and still have the DVD to this day.
@@doublechinn Wow, I've forever wondered what it looked like. I remember I listened to this set after it came out, but I was still too young to go to these venues lol. Would you be able to share what video too if it's not too much to ask? Maybe someday hopefully. :)
Those white doves were no joke.
White doves 🕊 traveled the globe 🇮🇪 they don't make them like they used to along with this classic set
Best memories, fantastic music, continue to follow the events, older now, children born, a mother, a wife,, but still following and loving the music xxxx
One of the all time great sets...
yes bro
Legendary. Who would have thought back then we would be saying this was to be remembered ❤you all. 🎉
This keeps me going through the early hours of a night shift.
Simply terrific. I missed it by its time, but I can fall in love with it now too. I´m sure this love will last forever.
The best to go down in the history of house music.
Hands down one of the greatest sets of all time. I was 13 when this came out😅
15 years later and still the best set of all time. I've listened to this set probably over 300 times over the last 15 years
Man I was just listening for the first time through a stick in my new sonata, man when Chimera in deep hit I couldn't fuken believe that track. ho-ly shit. What a cool piece of music.
the moment the "Adam dived" track lands into digweeds last track, quality!
an hour and 37 seconds if you don't know it 😊
Holy fuck, honestly one of the best transitions EVER, it's heavenly, instills goosebumps, fuuuuuuk
Intandem DJ Aria-one, voyager remix. Awesome track that you might like, digweed anthem from back in the day.
Yes , but acording to description , it is Sasha's first track, and transition starts on hour and 13 sec...
Wow. Gives me chills listening to this on headphones. Can only imagine hearing this live, in the club, on the Phazon system
This show was hands down THE best party I've ever been to... Love being able to hear it again! Wow!
agreed. this was one special party, I still think about this very often.
That Moby remix is EVERYTHING!!!
so good they played it twice!
They need to release this on CD....
Still love this mix. 12 years later its still going strong!
Senad Galijasevic 16 years
17 going on 18 now....
20
2023!!! 🎉 this will always be my #1 mix hands down!!!!!!!!
Always loved Digweed's taste for the massive cinemascope tracks.
James Roach yup 👊🏻
2022 and still fresh Delta Heavy, Toronto, I was there!!!
I dont care what anyone says this is when house music sounded the best.. the memories come flooding back to me when i listen to this.. electronic music just doesn't have the same effect now not to mention most of the dj's are not of the same calibre these days . Sasha and Digweed pioneers of house music.. true legends !
Best set ever recorded. Too much memories.
Coming here once again to listen to this magical set...and now is full of adds
Not one here...wrong browser mate
One of THE best sets EVER
Damn this is the mix I was searching all over the web for since 2004. I used to have this on CD and misplaced it. Thank you very much for uploading
I was there. Never will I forget it.
Wicked!! still after so many years...
This is the best!!! The Original! The Dual!! Nothing can compare!! Thank you Johnny, Thank you Sasha!!!
John and Sasha i love all your Sets ill happy and your Dancemaschineeeeeee i am 56 years old but my Sennheisser and i dance 17 hours non stop yesssss love youuuuuuu thanks
A Sasha and Digweed masterpiece! Wish they had made a double CD of this mix.
omg I would love to hear it all mastered proper from the soundboard
22 anni ancora
Still sounds fresh 21 years later.
Seen them in miami on that tour. Epic
masters at work, real progressive house, dark and mental
no words can describe what I felt the first time Ive listened this set ....
Best mix ever. After 13 years still bad ass! Indeed better with age like a fine wine.
The last song...OMG....they dont make music like this anymore...
That is such a dope jam that last track is great. I don't even have words for it but it's rare to find the perfect blend of progressive house and trance, this is an ideal example. too bad this era of EDM has been swept under a rug...and good thing people like you and me know where to find it!
This is 2013 and this set STILL is a killer. Digweed and Sasha rules.
This is my #1 Go-To Mix of All Time Guys and Gals --- #1!!! Sooooo So Good
I had many nights like that at Nation in DC when great DJs like them would come through our neck of the woods and create such epic nights. I miss those days...sigh.
Bring back the capital ballroom BUZZ daze....🥰🤩🥳
best set in house music
its rave
best set of my life
55:00 1:31:00 1:49:55
1:44:00
35:00 29:00 1:26:30
SASHA and digweed go soo hard as always
One of my all time favorites! Brings back memories.
Being in the UK I never got to go to this set but I did hear it on the radio. To be honest I was just meh for the first 25min. Then the prep work made sense and from then on divinity came crashing out of my speaker into my head and wham, like wft no pills needed I was rushing like a gold digger pulling his biggest nugget ever out of the pan.
The double chilling moments into red pilot is just fucking Bible story wonder made real. It cemented Digweeds position as Zeus/Odin/Jupiter God of progressive house. And I thank him to the bottom of my heart for his work.
Of course he couldn't have done it without the quality artist's that made the tunes. Yunnus you fckin beauty!!!! ❤ To all
You nailed it brother.
Bang ON🙏
i could listen to Sasha and digweed all day everyday!! their mixes are so soulful and deep!
I almost do listen to S&D everyday... not all day tho :-D
Janeiro into Main Element track, goosebumps overdrive!
Bro!!! I can't believe I just found this! You are a champion.
One of my favorite all time sets. I was there with 4 of my best friends. We were regulars at Twilo and it was closed for a year by then , a huge void ..and then we walked into the Miami Arena and it was set up amazing and with great sound. ..and this set is just beautiful.
15 years later-still unbeatable ......
One of my favourite gigs everytime.....S&D were the best dj combo at the tine....amazing set at wmc
yes its August 15, 2018 and my speakers are still bumping over this mix.
Arguably the duo's greatest set. though honestly, I could no sooner pick a favorite color. peace
"Schmuel Flash - Chilling Moments (Bedrock Vocal Mix)" Ohhhh. That's what this track is called. I actually heard it for the first time maybe last month on the "Progressive Classics" channel; or maybe an old 'Global DJ Broadcast' set from 2002.
I experienced this tour in Denver Colorado and to this day have not experienced any musical journey like it. My mind literally blown away by the talents of the best DJ duo to hit the decks.
Electro will never die...it will evolve and become the music of the Future
one of the best sets ever...
1.8.2023❤🥳😎
This mix is what inspired me to see Sasha & John Digweed last Friday in Brooklyn. The lads did well. As good as I expected.
An epic set , the best i heard from S&D.Diggers blew the roof in the first 20 minutes itself. I remember buying the DVD of the delta heavy tour.So many top class tracks , my fav is Chimera - Just wanna do my thing a melodious ,contemplative and a soul stirring track, an ideal way to way end the set.
Saw them live at that show.....F’g incredible!
Main Element - Take Me Down (Silver Planet) love this track 1:08
this entire mix is just a huge freakin magical buildup... unreal
Fucking Ace......Digweed dark and dirty first hour then Sasha drops in Adam Dived "Headfirst" which is a beautiful uplifting tune but stands out especially off the back of Digweeds set! All the better with the live crowd/sound system....Check out the video interview of Sasha in his hotel room before this gig on the "Delta Heavy" documentary :-)
Que rico set

That must have been immense
Twilo NYC, last Friday night of the month, late 90’s, early 2000s = best music ever!! Sasha and Diggers taking turns blowing people’s minds!!!
awesome set... remember listening to this back in the day
love it how they both play the timo maas remix... huge tune
I had listened this mix when i was 16 and now i am 27 and still i am listening ..
Listened to this in my 20s and I'm in my 40s now and it's still amazing.
Legendary set. You could play the track @16:00 right now and obliterate the dancefloor. - "Tom Mangan - Chutney (Nick Muir Edit)"
i have no doubt that the aftenoons in the rocking chair in old folks home at 70 will be afar nicer place with mixes like this.....rave safe
Best set ever!
19 year later still as fresh these guys are the business
the way that last track opens and closes is a perfect example of what I loved most about that early 00's era Progressive. Low and deep Bass Line with a touch of tribal house and great Rhythm. Awesome mix and track selection but the 1st and Last Tracks are really on a Higher Level
Right from the beginning my dream music :)
Went to the Rochester NY Delta Heavy party!
For me, this set is better than Northern Exposure (1 and 2) and Renaissance. 1999-2004 was definitely the golden era of Progressive House.
SASHA I LOVE YOU MASTER CREATOR GLOBAL UNDERGROUND
The intro is lethal
Was at the show in KC. Ended up making it on the DVD during a slow mo clip! One of the best nights in dance music everrrr!
This is 2012 (and almost 2013) and this set is still a killer. This is what good DJ/Producers can do.
I love both of these guys...always blown away by them
bumped across this when looking for delta heavys essential mix of 2016. didn't bother searching anymore and listened to the rest of this once again
The best memories thanks to these guys 😂🎉😅😂🎉😂
great set..
