I just purchased my first bounce house. I made a RUclips video about going to pick it up from the seller. I paid $75. It is a Princess Castle. I have learned as a rookie in this business that certain items will attract buyers to rent other items from you. For an example I set up candy buffets at birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, and more. When they book my candy buffets, I offer them tables and chairs, linen, balloon garlands, backdrops, centerpieces, tents, and much more. Candy buffet tables aren't seasonal, but bounce houses and tents are.

Great detailed & Truthful video on the business. I had a business like this 15 years ago, ran 4-5 years and sold it as it just was not profitable enough. Every rental has 3-5hrs of labor; deliver and setup, return home, return to go pick-up, return home, clean it, let it dry and repackage. An average of $30/hr gross, once you deduct all your costs you are netting $15hr
I’d rather work for myself busting my ass makin that 15/hr working towards expanding or creating another business, rather then doing grunt work growing another mans business to get paid min labor wages. I don’t think u ran ur business to it’s potential or u would have acquired and upgraded inventory with profits to rent more and make more profit, do some r&d to figure out what ur customers would be more likely to pay for, hire employees to offset ur time, and made a machine that u only need to organize invoices.. if u pay employee 15 an hour for set up take down pickup should be 3hrs (45$) u rent a jumper for 125 u make 80$ for answering a call. Multiply that by 10 years. Plus 15 years ago the demand wasn’t there
Nice, sounds like you need the right mindset as well. And think of ways to make thinks more efficient. That basically what running a business is, is finding efficiencies
@@cooljay2161 it was an OK side hustle, to make it a full-time business was not worth the investment as we can only run the business 5 months out of the year as these are setup outdoors 90% of the time and I live in Montreal, Canada. Paying employees eats way too much into your profit when you are doing this on a small scale (< 5 units)

I love your videos man. Quick question, what kind of contract or template do you use or when I can find those contract sheets with the yellow and white paper? I started my renta business back in November and doing well so far but I have not implemented any form of contract to my deliveries. Any help is appreciated.

I think I'm very similar to you in that I'm still trying to find a good paying job that I don't hate. Right now I'm driving for an Amazon DSP. The job is boring but something I am fine doing. The problem is they are stingy with OT. Would be a nice job working 50 hours (time and a half ot) but they are cheap. Not sure what to do. UPS pays great but it just seems like a stressful job over there. Help me! LOL

I saved up & I started with $8000 I bought all my jumpers cash , where i went to which is called OMG JUMP , they have different packages with chairs tables jumpers and canopies . Check them out , they also have a credit Union that will loan you the money to start up your business if you have good credit .

To be honest I wouldn’t do neither , I’ll wait until you get more units and income but if you decide I think llc is best . I buy my sand bags from omg jump and tarps at harbor freight .

I Tend To Only Do Weekends Because Thats When People Contact Me More But I’ll Be Available Anyday . I’ll Just Deliver One Night Before .

To be honest Brotha for the first few years I suggest you stay with your full time job and make the jumper business a side hustle it gets hard once summer time is over because no one is really renting out jumper just tarps heaters chairs and tables which doesn’t add up as much .
