) - lots of 6ft holes there ! War toll und erfolgreiche Jagd!
Apart from the bonny glass you found, you make me feel homesick. I live in the USA , hail from Aberdeenshire and listening to Craig using words like havering and doolally is so comforting. I still use those words by the way. Thank you!
That glass is amazing! Can imagine you each with a chunky piece as a paperweight on your desk with the sun picking out the lovely shafts of green light.
Hello Craig and Nicole! Such an awesome video. Love hearing the joy and happiness in your voices as you found all the amazing treasures. Thanks for all you do to bring us these videos!!
I have my gorgeous nuggets of emerald glass purchased from you last year on the desk in front of me as I watched this. 😍😁Those bigger chunks you just found are really something! 😲 I'm so happy you're having good luck on the beaches and in the rubbish tips. 🤩 The warmer weather is coming, Nicole, so you'll soon be able to put away your parka. 🤗😂 See you next Friday. 😊😘💖👌👍👋
Thanks so much Noralee! That's how I imagined the pieces would look best - in the sun on a desk :) Very much looking forward to warmer days and mothballing my winter jacket for a few months ....
I Absolutely Lived this adventure. Thanks for sharing such Wonderment. I am Barb in Oklahoma.you are both great excitement guides. Love it all and you both.
Oh wow that’s some nice chunks. Reminds me of when I was a teenager,I marveled at a neighbor’s garden, they had a football chunk of aqua,it was so thick it read almost turquoise in depth. Not frosty sea glass, more flint-knapped primitive chunk,it shared the sunlight in a way that I’ve never seen before.
That glass is stunning! If you like those big whelk shells, like you found here also, there are lots of them if you walk from the Forth road bridge to the Dalmeny estate and look at the stretches of sand along the way. There are so many of those shells washed up there! Found lots when I went in March x
Beautiful finds! I wonder if the glass with 'extras' were poured onto the beach when they were hot? Or maybe those are the newer pieces that the ocean hasn't cleaned up yet? Either way...they're beautiful pieces of glass! Have a lovely week you two!
Thanks so much Donna! Yes Craig writes and performs all our music :) We've got it on our Kofi shop for a small donation - ko-fi.com/scottishmudlarking/shop
Right next to that large piece of glass was a brick with writing on it i found interesting. Would that have been the name of the factory or the brick maker? it was at 19:05 in the video.
Those are fantastic pieces!
They are stunning !!
beautiful clouds
The views from that Bay are always astonishing, especially in the winter :)
Super fun score score score!thanks again for the hunt
Thanks so much !
Great pieces of EMERALDS! They’re harder to find. They look so much like other rocks.
They really do blend in very well but Craig has eagle eyes ;) x
Unbelievable finds. Craig was right on with his sightings.. beautiful green colors
Craig really does have eagle eyes even through the tiny lens of the camera :)
Spectacular! 💚
Thank you! We enjoyed the day so much :)
That beach is definitely worthy of the nickname Emerald Bay! 💚
It truly is :) It's becoming a favourite !

Hello Nicole and Craig. Must say there is nothing more exotic as Emeralds and Opals. Have a great hunt.
Oh opals are lovely too!! I guess opalescent sea glass is as close as it gets for that for me :)
I absolutely love the humongous emerald sea glass found by Craig! Beautiful really
It's such a massive piece of sea glass :)

Exactly Christine! They look stunning with the sun shining through them :)
That massive piece deserves a special place in your home.
We did keep a couple but the big one is on our etsy shop - very heavy though!!
A beautiful time at Emerald Bay. Such absolute hunks of glass! I love it when there’s time to just look out to sea. 😊❤ Have a wonderful week!
Always the best... a few minutes just to recharge the batteries :)

Beautiful large, huge, and humorous pieces of green glass. What will you do with them? Awesome day for you guys. Have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thanks so much! We kept a couple for ourselves and the other pieces are up on our Etsy shop :) They look great as paperweights!
Those pieces of glass are amazing! I wonder what is in them to make them look like geodes. So cool!!!
Hmm maybe the way they cooled down very quickly or maybe they were thrown into the Sea when the glass was still molten...

Oh cool! I'll take a note of that - we are collecting Buckies and Dog Whelks for the shell house restoration in Anstruther :)
Really cool beach glass!
Thanks so much :)

I think you might be right! Some of the glass might have been almost poured into the Sea ... maybe that's how the crystalline structures developed!!
Hi there, have you found any sea haggis yet, lol, take care, Agnes 🏴
No yet! But we do like to eat Haggis ;)
😊 holy cow! Those are "CHUUNKKYY" 😅
Aren't they just !??! :)
Sorry I wasn’t looking at the name an who did it! It’s so lovely is it your music Craig?
Thanks so much Donna! Yes Craig writes and performs all our music :) We've got it on our Kofi shop for a small donation - ko-fi.com/scottishmudlarking/shop
I love the music! Can you share the title an who is the musician who made it? Enjoy both of you!

There are always some really cool bricks on the beach - they do usually have the name of the factory on them :)

So glad you enjoyed the video! Very generous offer, thanks so much :)
@@scottishmudlarking your welcome always looking for ways to get more practice in!
Do you clean the glass?
Yes in a light bleach solution :)
Are they actually emeralds or are they just glass?
They are sea glass pieces in emerald green like we say 😃
@scottishmudlarking sorry was just asking
Do you metal detectorist In Scotland who detect beaches for coins and Jewelry?
We don't metal detect and don't know anyone who does I'm afraid!
Geode
Very much so ! Sometimes words escape you when filming !
