I preach now from OT narratives and words can’t express how much I recommend “Preaching Old Testament narratives” by Benjamin Walton. This book is an absolute masterpiece. I saw progress immediately after I applied some principles from the book. After I preached my first sermon that followed all suggestions from the book an elder from my church approached me saying “that was your best sermon I’ve ever heard!” Consider it as a must read if you want to preach from OT narrative texts!
